Remarks
TSAP is an amazing place to study. It is undoubtedly one of the best colleges for architecture in India. The college management is fantastic.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course includes learning all the skills that are required to practice as an Architect. The curriculum is taught with a pragmatic approach. Every year, we had 1 or 2 electives wherein we could choose the subject of our interest eg interior design, entrepreneurship, etc. Experts from the field were called in and lectures were conducted. Every year, we had one domestic & one international industrial visits. The locations were strategically chosen to study the Architecture/Urban Development of the place.
Placement Experience
Our college is the only college which provides and helps in placements. No other college does that.
College Events
Every year, we have an annual cultural event call Epoch & an annual Sport’s Day. These two are big events. They are held on a big scale. The entire college participates in them. Apart from this, we celebrate many other cultural events periodically like teacher’s day, traditional day, Farewell, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are feasible. We get the best facilities for the fees we pay. And for that, the fees are nominal. We pay using DD only. There is total transparency about the fees. The college provides us break down of every single rupee that is being spent per student.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for any scholarship. But the college does provide scholarship based on excellence in certain areas like sports etc
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. Its a mix of students from various places and all walks of life. The gender ratio is almost 1:1. We have a lot of extra co-curricular activities like sports, dance, drama. Workshops on different topics are organized every now and then.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors & alumni are very helpful. They take out time from their busy schedule and are always ready to guide us whenever we are stuck in any situation.
Admission
I was always fascinated with how buildings are made and how they function. I had two choices after 12th grade, Civil Engineering & Architecture. I chose to do B.Arch because it has more practical learning than theoretical studies. Also, B.Arch deals with the design aspect which always intrigued me. I chose TSAP because it is one of the best colleges for B.Arch in Mumbai. It is close to my residence and has the best infrastructure of all colleges in Mumbai.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is simply outstanding. Every faculty is a master of their own specific field of Architecture. We have about 15-20 lecturers of all age groups. We also have faculties who have more than 35-40 years of experience in the field. Their knowledge & guidance is always of big help to us.
