Remarks

In my eyes I never found any single negative point of my college. Maybe I loved my college too much but in order to support my statement, if the attendance sheet of my college gets published in a public domain I can probably say that in my city, my college will certainly have the maximum number of students attending class compared to any other private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

If l had to describe my course compared to riding a Mountain bike, I would say that the course was a fully mixed terrain trail. Some sections are technical, some sections are easy flow trail, some days I felt like this climb is too hard and sometimes I felt like let's shred this downhill. Similarly coming to my course, the most contribution was of our HOD. She is a wonderful person. Always ready to help and definitely looked after us and other faculty members with great care. The cleanliness of the premises was remarkable. Because us the students used to keep it clean as well all the time.

Placement Experience

4

Since I was in arts stream I opted for master's degree program when my bachelor's degree was completed. Presently I'm pursuing PhD so that I could become idol to other students who are really Keen to learn.

College Events

5

Starting from college foundation day to mandatory events like Republic Day, Independence Day and other culturally important days were very largely celebrated in our college. Infact I was one of the most enthusiastic person to make sure that I don't miss any of the program participation chance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a Govt college definitely the fee structure is very much affordable for all economic backgrounds. For instance the annual fees charged to me in three years was less than 12000 rupees. So it can not be said it was expensive at all.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any loan or scholarship. Hence I genuinely have no idea regarding this particular matter. But is available for those who are in need. The college authority is very much helpful when it comes to opting for loan or scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Since I'm a sporty person I mostly participated in every sports regarding events and activities. Volleyball and basketball being most popular choice in my college, table tennis, football, cricket, running, cycling and arm wresting was also in trend during my college time. Other than that there is an option for music, dance, drama and even public speaking and personality development as extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

Since I'm local, I did not have to opt for hostel or PG. But still the hostel facility is available the PG is expensive on the other hand. For an average figure 3500 rupees per month was enough for getting a room in PG.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are the best. I still remember how funny they are and how much of help they all have done on their part regarding every problem that was faced by any particular student. The alumni is very much active and very much present in every program that happens in our college premises. I being a member of the alumni association presently, recently had conducted a blood donation camp in my college for the good cause of the society.

Admission

I always had a knack towards literature. So I had arts as stream in 12th and then got admitted to my college for studying English literature. The admission process included applying online, then getting called for entrance and the marks obtained in the entrance + the overall academic score cumulatively got me a place on the final selection list. When I found my name on the list I literally was so happy.

Faculty

4.5

The most important role was played by our HOD in managing the faculties. Every professor was highly qualified and they certainly had distinct knowledge about whatever they taught us. They always encouraged us to become a better person first than to become a good student. Because once we learn to become a good person, we unleash the potential to become anything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.
