Remarks

Acropolis is known for its placements. But, there exist a bitter truth about it too. Good thing: Placements are really good Bad thing: placement policies aren't good. They want students to be certain (100%) and chose between Higher studies or Jobs. There are certainly 4-5 options for any student after graduations: 1. GRE exam 2. Gate exam 3. CAT exam 4. government exams 5. placements If you are sure about placements, its well and good. If you want to opt for any option between the 2nd and 5th, its good. After giving GRE, one applies to Universities abroad. These universities require a Letter of Recommendations from teachers of the college. They give it only if you sign NOC(no objection certificate) which includes and guarantee that you haven't taken any placement and won't take it in the future. Apart from this, for every other option, the student can take the placement and may not join. It's his/ her will. Thus, only the person who opts for MS is left and the staff takes advantage of the LOR system. Thus, the placement committee boasts much and are over- proud on their placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

AITR is affiliated by RGPV, hence, it follows the curriculum decided by RGPV. Apart from this teacher are ready to help. in every branch, some senior teachers help in research work. Sessions and pieces of training are helping to update students about upcoming technologies, hackathons, and college coding competitions are also an interesting part. Apart from this, there are several robotic competition, ideation competition and Baha like competitions help in college. Industrial visits to the IT Park of Indore also make students aware about work in the corporate.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good enough, but the policies are worst. Also, internships are provided only to the members of E-Cell. Companies follow the normal selection process. Written test (Technical, aptitude, and English), then a GD round (some only), Technical interviews and HR round. Institute design a placement session with sessions for technical, coding, aptitude, GD and Mock interviews. This prepares students for the placement and nearly every student gets placed. Up to 80% of students get placed in one or the other company.

College Events

3

The college conducts multiple events. Technical hackathons, coding competitions, BAHA events, Robo race, etc. Apparently, E-Cell conducts events every Saturday. Poetry, singing, dancing, solo and group song, theme dress, stall competitions are also held. College conduct rangoli, poster making, Diya decoration competitions too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is similar to other colleges. Every college in Indore offers nearly a similar fee structure. Thus, it is not expensive not feasible. ST-SC and OBC can avail for scholarships and also Jain people with low income can opt for the scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't applied or availed for any kind of scholarship or education loan. ST-SC and OBC students can avail of scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life at AITr as good. The campus is a small wrt area. But many activities are held. Annual Function of AITR is a program of 8 days with sports, poetry, singing, fashion shows, concerts, dance competitions, and everything. Students enjoy a lot, dress up according to the theme, celebrate the days well. E Cell of college also organizes an event each Saturday. Apart from this, AITR winds many competitions of chess, kho-kho. TT, cricket, swimming, netball, yoga, etc and also for dance, nukkad natal, etc. Rangoli, poster making, Diya decoration several competitions also help.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network totally depends on a student. If one is interactive, play any game at nodal or state level, take part in activities, then he/ she can surely have a good alumni connection. Apart from this, regular alumni workshops and sessions are held in college to interact with past students and gain knowledge and experience.

Admission

I got 109 in JEE Mains Examination. Like every student, I also wanted to be in a good college like an IIT or NIT. But, I couldn't. Thus, I decided to pursue engineering from a good college in Indore. I was sure about Computer Science as a stream because I enjoyed this subject in my 11th and 12th std. as well. Also, the future is of computers, thus, I chose CS. Counseling of Jee Mains Students starts in mid-June and ends in July. There are several rounds. In each round, a student is supposed to fill the college names and branches. Just when the result of the first round comes, one has to decide whether the college seat and branch allotted to him/ her is desired. If one is satisfied by the branch and college, one can finalize and confirm a seat. After finalizing the seat, the verification round is organized by authorities, and we need to verify ourselves with documents at the center and time allotted. Just after this, college gets fixed. If one doesn't get a college he/ she desired, then he can go for another round and try till the end. After all, there comes the process of admission to the college. Just keep the verified documents. Check the institute's fee, required documents, and other requirements. Visit the college campus, and a person (authority) will help you generously in the process at every stage. At last, attend the student orientation program with your parents and clear your doubts and know more about the college. Placements are the major reason to chose a college to study for graduation. And, AITR is known for its 100% placements. Thus, I chose CS at the Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research. Another reason I chose this college includes the trend of the year I completed my 12th. At that time, renowned colleges of Indore just transformed into Universities, as a result, I was uncertain about the importance of the degree those universities will provide. On the other hand, I was sure about the importance of a degree issued by RGPV, board to which AITR is affiliated. Additionally, AITR is NBA accredited college. This is a proud thing for every person. Thus, it provides a good ground to select this college to pursue graduation.

Faculty

2.5

There are several teachers in each branch. Senior-most being the faculty and the senior associate and associate faculties. There are 6 lectures held in a single day each of 40 minutes. Teachers are good and try to cope with upcoming technologies and quotations. Yes, the lecture gives experience to students and prepares them for the future.
