Pros: Very good library. Location in near city so you can get all you want. Has highly trained staff members Cons: Fees is high when compared to nearby arts and science colleges. Poor infrastructure and the lab instruments are not up to date it's not safe to use them. The faculty may be trained but they are not friendly. you are responsible for your own.

Geology is one of the most growing field of research science. The exam here is 75 marks on written exams and 25 marks on internals total 100 marks for each subject. For undergraduate you should attend 6 semesters

I wouldn't say it's the best but there are companies and banks which have came here to select students for geology one must finish his/her master's degree in order to get job last year 2019 four students were selected in a hydrology company in karur

Every year there will be sports day and annual day some departments conduct individual workshops and convocations once in a while there will be intercollege competitions and university level culturals students who are interested participate in them

It's a bit expensive I am not willing to point out the amount but if you get a chance to talk to aluminies ask them how it was then ( which means the year 2018 and before ) and now ( after 2019 ) there is a considerable rise. !

There is no such thing as loan facility in this college and there is scholarship of rs. 10000 for all students who score 80% and above in their higher secondary school. Students of minorities get an annual scholarship of about rs. 4000 and for SC/ST it's rs. 7000

They have NCC and NSS and rotary club. Every department has its own variety of labs for us (geology) we have sedimentology lab and fossil museum. Sports is one of the main interests of this college anyone who is good is sports this college make them perfect.

Every first Sunday of February alumini meeting are held. Some departments Even call their alumni students who are now very successful to conduct seminars and classes my department brought a professor from Sweden who was our alumni to teach stratigraphy

There are only limited colleges in Tamil Nadu offering geology course and this is one of them I got admission by my higher secondary school marks and I'm here for two now.

Highly trained professionals are Available to teach you. Mostly all of the faculty have completed their doctorate degree and each staff are expert in their own respective fields like geomorphology and mineralogy etc.
