Remarks

Make sure you follow the rules and do not break them. If by mistake you do so, do not get caught otherwise the charge huge fines for very small small reasons. Have a healthy relation with the warden and security.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

First year is kind of a transition from school life to college life. Burden will be less so do enjoy to the fullest. Take online courses and learn because everyone will be doing the same. Preferably do not go to workshops. Try hackathon and makathons. Projects are not in first semester but will be introduced in second semester. Don't take tension of exams they are easy going.

Placement Experience

3.5

Being a first year student, I currently have no idea if the college provides internship or is planning to do so or not, but it surely has a good placement record But the completion is tough because it only lets those students sit for placement those who have a CGPA of 8 or more. So try to maintain that

College Events

3

The college has its own cultural events and fests. If you are in the organising comitee, it is very good or else try to enjoy the festivals and events. There are a lot of restrictions in celebration of festivals and concerts. Barricades are there between boys and girls. Crackers are restricted. Basically it is on the Northside festivals such as Holi, Diwali and all. Dahi chewda is not there on Makar Sankranti.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are in a lower category then your fee is less otherwise it increases. At least it is 2 lakhs per annum + at least 1. 25 lakhs for hostel. It goes on increasing if you opt for other categories or facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know any but I have heard that state government offers some scholarships to economically weak students. You may concern the administration for such. Or there are few government schemes that provide loans at a cheaper or 0 interest rate.

Campus Life

4

It completely depends on the participation of the student that makes these activities exciting and fun while the college provides all the facilities. Just you need to have the right contacts to have the information of the events happening inside the campus.

Hostel Facilities

2

Well infrastructure is ok and buildings are 15 to 17 storeyed. Three types of rooms are provided : 2 bed, 3 bed and 4 bed in both ac and non AC. Well the 3 and 4 are bunker beds while two is single bedded. 4 bedded is more spacious than others and 3 bedded is most conjusted. If you have a habit of AC then go for AC rooms otherwise prefer non AC. The floors and rooms and common bathrooms and washrooms are daily cleaned and mopped. If you are vegetarian go for veg mess other wise special mess.

Alumni/Alumna

Well first years are kept separate from senior students to prevent ragging but if you try to communicate, you will find it more helpful than this review. They know the latest curriculum and may guide you well throughout your college life.

Admission

First thing is that you have to clear the Entrance exam called VITEE. If not so you have a management quota. After that you will be called for your counselling based on your rank in the examination. There are no fixed seats or limited seats. These are decided into categories and depending on it your fees will be decided. Higher category, higher fees per year. Do check the website for all the documents required at the time of counselling, specially the demand draft. After that you will be instructed on how to present the documents on the day of admission, booking of hostels and messes, buses for day scholars.

Faculty

3.5

Well most of the faculties are doctorates and the rest are pursuing or planning to do so. It totally depends if the faculty's style of teaching is compatible with your style of learning that you will like the faculty or not. If the course has a project component, do take part in the project with your group members because that is where you learn more

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
