Entrance Preview
I took MPPET, and i got rank 4012 in this exam. MPPET stands for Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test. I got admission through Female Quota after getting this much of rank. I opt for this branch in this college because many of the companies which are from IT sector like TCS, CSC, AMDOCS, IBM comes here to select students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure of CS branch is very much well covered. Almost all the subjects and their syllabus are well matched with the standards of NIT and IITs. They focus on research but the facilities are not of that level. So the student who is seeking for research facilities might get some trouble.
Internships Opportunities
Yes it provides internship to the students of 2nd as well as for 3rd yr students. Companies like amdocs and some of the startups hire interns sometimes. Stipend they get is around 10-12k per month and duration of internship varies from 2-3 months. And sometimes they get PPO too (pre placement offer) by the companies.
Placement Experience
Placement here in medicaps is very good for CS and IT branch, but for other branches there are no such visits by the company for them. Companies like TCS IBM CSC amdocs recruits almost every year, and the no of students getting placed in them are also about 60% of the total. ( other branches are also eligible to sit in their recruitment process). Package they offer is around 3.15-3.5 lac per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is very decent like any other college (private). For academic it varies from 40-50000 per semand for those who are living in hostel it costs them about 15-20000 per sem.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship given by the MP govt to those who are needy and very much good in their academic career. Scholarship benefits varies from 20000 per sem to 30000 per sem.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is like 30-70 in which 30% is for girls and 70% for boys. Sports complex is very good in medicaps and the labs are also of standard. ( except mechanical, in which not so many machines are there for students to get practical knowledge in deep). Debate, singing, dramatics are some events which the college conducts sem wise. There is inter branch sports tournament too.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not of that level like any other govt college, but the administration is trying hard to get it strong.
