Remarks

Miss my college remembering those good days when we had fun in participating in the events to intense pressure when giving exams. My college is not really bad nowadays but the level of placement and knowledge level of faculty staff has gone down

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was good in my 1st and 2nd year when we have 2 semester T1 and T2 exams along with mid and end sem practical exam but later changed to T1, T2 and T3 sem exams along with mid and end sem practicals.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements in my initial years was very good keeping this in my mind I choose JUIT over other colleges when major tech giants visited our college and students have chance to brighten their career by working in those companies. No internship was provided by my college and students do their internship on their own using their links.

College Events

4

There were numerous events which happen during entire year like • Tech Fest (Murious) organised and managed by technical club • Environmental events handled by environment club • Sports Fest(Parakram) which is an inter college event organised and managed by sports club • Finally at the year end we have annual college fest (Le Fiestus) where different bollywood singers, famous bands, comedians etc come and entertain the students, faculties with their specialities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As we all know fee of private institutions is much higher than the government colleges. So fee structure was expensive if compared with government colleges but feasible if compared with other private colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship or loan facility was awarded by my college. There should be some kind of scholarship for meritorious students to help them financially or loan facility so that students who are bright do not remain away from studying in good college despite their financial condition.

Campus Life

4.5

There are labs of different departments like computer lab, electronic lab, biotech lab etc. Students are involved in extra curricular activities in terms of organising events of different clubs and committees. There is no gender bias or bias with regards to race, religion, caste or creed when students play sports or organising events or any other activities.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I have opted for hostel in all the years. First year students live in entirely separate building from other year students building. In my first year I was allocated single room (luck by chance) but had to pay extra money for single room but I paid as I prefer single room than sharing with others. Hostel rooms were nice with cupboard, chair, table and wooden shelves one fixed on wall and other movable on floor, heater to keep room warm during winters, fan and light. Apart from these we have water purifiers in each floor and one TV and TT room in each building. Later for one year I was in double shared room but later moved to single sharing in 3rd and 4th year.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah alumni network is there and is active with sending updates about important events happening in the college, telling the story of alumni who have excelled much in their life in terms of achieving the dreams and aspirations which in a way benefitted the college as a college is known by the students.

Admission

I gave AIEEE and got admission in JUIT based on my rank. There were other options but I choose juit over other colleges based on its high rated placement, serene view of the college based on its location amidst the hills and mountains.

Faculty

3

In the initial years the faculty was very good in terms of knowledge, experience where faculty at associate level were from IIT learning from whom was a great experience but slowly there were changes in the faculty staff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
