Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE. Scored a rank of 19392 which could get me easily into this course and this college. I chose this college as this is one of the best place is Uttar Pradesh to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course goes through 8 semesters having variable number of subjects and electives. We could chose between subjects viz. Laser, soft computing, fuzzy logic and more.

Internships Opportunities

Internships were offerd to us by companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra and more.we got to learn various skills and got stipend of near 10k at that time. Moreover college management took us to various organizations to provide us a clear view of industries be it IT or heavy electronics.

Placement Experience

Almost all of us got placed in companies like Accenture,Tata,Mindtree,and many more with an average starting package of 3.26L.

College Events

We celebrated annual event Spandan. Also celebrated various types of technical events related to our specific department. There were sports festivals held in which we invited various colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee schedule was average. Not too expensive. We had to pay around 75k annually. So all in all it was feasible for all of us. We had to pay another 30k to avail hostel and mess facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

College management provided scholarship to people who cannot afford the cost of education. Also the name of college is big enough so we could get loan from any bank we wanted as college had collaboration with different banks.

Exam Structure

We had 42 exams in a semester but they wont leave us in any kind of problem but that exam period had it's different charisma. Those were times when every one would become a teacher for one in need. Labs were fun to take.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
