studying Engineering has always been my dream. So, I appeared for an entrance exam IIT-JEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into Eight Semesters.Electrical Engineering is all about power electronic, electrical components, control systems and power systems and its protection using automation. It consists of study, designing, testing and maintaining the manufacturing of electrical equipment, power management and power systems. This branch of engineering plays a vital role in the energy industry, power management etc.

College Events

In addition to Academics, The Department is organizing Industrial Visits for the Students & Faculty Members. Industrial Visits like BHEL Haridwar, Chilla Hydro Project, Chilla and Harduaganj Power Station, Thermal Power Station Dadri for Coal and Gas based units & combined cycle units and also ± 500 KV 1500 MVA HVDC Receiving center and Smart Grid control unit at Katwaria Sarai and Gas Insulated EHV AC Substation at 400 KV, 800 KV etc. This gives platform to the Students to Receive Knowledge of expertise from Industry experts. This gives an outlook to students for present demand in industries in terms of employ ability.

The course feels a bit dated in 2026, and the University needs to update it in 2026 with the new AI modern tools coming. Apart from the course, I was also involved in social media activities in different internships and i learned a lot over there.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good here . Generally most of the comapnies that come here are for SDE roles but also many for consulting and DS roles . Students generally dont prefer the core roles so there are less companies visit for core jobs . Talking abt my course the highest package was 51 lakh by microsoft and the average was around 18 lakh . For the aollege highest package was around 1.6 cr. Around 1000 offers have been given for 252 profiles . In this 280 offers were PPO for final year student. Average CTC for whole college was 29.23 LPA. Around 80 percent of students get placed . Some people go for higher studies , some go for civil services .

The frequency of exams is fine but timings and schedules are but hectic with no leaves and continuous exams even two exams in a day sometimes . Well some of the courses are relevant and prepare students for the real world circumstances

On the campus placement is good like if you have capability you can make throw it and they provide almost 3 to 4 lakh average salary and Anam I will say and highest package I have seen was 23 lakhs and 49 lakhs from a college and companies like Wipro TCS Amazon and HDFC and many other companies have came this year for placement and like we have a good placement cell and PDP and training classes

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is good as in core branches, most of the students get placements on-campus, infact these years good freshie paying scale company for core companies did visit the company and most of the IT sector companies also offer good packages. The average package is 5.5 lakhs. For ECE, Vivo, Kuka robotics, Ericsson and blauplug visited the college. I'm not really much aware about other branch's companies

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. 2) many companies visit our college like asbl,shl,deloitte,infosys,hcl tech , To the new and many startup based companies 3) highest package on campus was around 14 lpa and average package was around 4-4.5 LPA. 4) around 600-700 students got placed out of 1100 students. 5) my plan is to do masters.

Well I had taken UPSEE ie Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination to get the admission for the undergraduate course in Vishveshwarya Institute Of Engineering & Technology(VIET) (UPTU Code-096).
