My fabulous memories at college

Good atmosphere for students as well as teachers. Support for higher studies and job. Teachers give emotional and educational support to students. No accomodation facility is provided by tye college. Student should find it on their own.

The curriculum is detailed as well as light.Student friendly and is designed by experienced educators like retired professors.Exam pattern is made of two internal tests and a final exam per semester.The course lasts for 3 years and each semester lasts for six months.

Being an arts and science college we didn't have much chance for internship in the college.Now, keeping up with the needs of the students, placement cell and student supporting wing is functioning in the college.

In addition to usual programs like annual days, college arts and sports fest, college union inauguration and women's day celebration, various state level, national and international seminars, talks and workshops are conducted at the college.

Feasible fee structure. A student admitted merit wise have to pay less than 10000 rupees in total.In addition, support is given to economically weaker sections.Scholarship and fee waiver is given ti such students.They are also given money to purchase books and other stationary items needed for the college.

The college provide scholarship for meritorious students from economically weaker sections, minorities and such groups.Full fee waiver, support for purchasing books and other stationary etc are provided. Scholarships are given also for meritorious students hailing from any section, studying in the college.

Extracurricular activities are in full-fledge in the college.Sports and arts club function with huge student participation and support from college management. The college is always top in sports and arts competitions. Every department has well set labs and practical works are guided by trained lab assistants.

The college is not providing hostel facilities for students. If required students can stay at various hostels around the college.There are many hostels run by churches trusts and private managements.

College has a set of notable alumniees.And tje association is well functioning.The association help students with scholarships and always gives fund to college, for developing more facilities. They conduct programs for students and faculties.

I got admision to this college through the centralised allotment process of university. Now the college is autonomous.Any candidate wishing to join the college should visit the college website fatimacollege.ac.in and apply for the course, once the notification is out.The admision notification will also be published in major malayalam and english dailies of Kerala.Normally a high merit around 80- 90 percent is required to be admitted to this college.50 percent seats are given for government merit and rest 50 are filled by management

Experienced educators with doctorates and such high degrees.They are good in handling students.They also help to sharpen the skills of students.The atmosphere is so light that we students were so relaxed in the campus, even during acquiring that huge amount of knowledge.
