Remarks

As overall the college and faculties,infrastructures, facilities etc. and everything is good only the major thing is they are somewhat strict for the first year and they make us pay heavy fines for little and silly things.

Course Curriculum Overview

Hectic with lots of study pressure on students 6 assignments 2 laboratories 6 subjects no time management the day will be spent only in completing assignments records no time at all to do some research works etc.

Placement Experience

Mine is mechanical engineering branch in mechanical there are very less company campus placement for E&C there are much placements in our college starting salary as I know is 14000 and highest is 12 lakhs per annum

College Events

Mainly our College concentrateson cultural activities and hence it is known for cultural.in technical there is no much events.there is a cultural team named dollu for which our college holds first prize in VTU & also there is technical clubs like autoclubs etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure as compared to all other colleges as I compared is worthy for the fees paid cost effective 1,25,000 is the fees per year for alumni students it it 95000 and also they can pay the fees in instalments.

Fees and Financial Aid

One can apply for many scholarships such as for obc e pass and scst and for minorities many scholarship options available as I have applied for epass as said by senior students we will get around 40 thousand.For obc and for SC and st may get even more

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are good but the main problem as mentioned above students can’t manage time there are many clubs like autoclubs football,volleyball,netball,athletics,In sports and gym,and many other clubs innovation lab etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good with three persons in a room you can even opt for personal room,for the hostel fee of 33000 facilities is good and food is okay and for no vegetarians they make 3 days a week non veg dishes.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are best ever as they don’t rag and the main thing is they support us in each and every clubs and also if we ask with them about studies, and also about alumni’s they are also earning a moderate salary of around 35 to 40 k.

Admission

Management quota,actually I got my seat through cet quota but as I was Alvas alumni they said us to join through management quota and they said we can pay the fees in installments so almost every alumni joined through management quota.

Faculty

Faculties are good but are very strict.well experienced faculties and also with good subject knowledge but are very very strict and we can’t even argue if we have not done anything wrong then also they will simply scold with silly reasons

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Hostel food. Rooms facility. Library. Canteen.

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Not worth my life

Since I'm form general category I couldn't get seat through my ceet. So I went through management.. I wrote exams for nitte nd I got seat for AI which was great. The day I got the MSG I was happy and discussed with my parents and thought of approving the next day . When I called them the next day .. they told the seats are full already u should have called earlier. I fucked up the whole thing. I was in depression since I didn't get the clg I wanted ... Although I had got seat in EC background. I wanted CS . One day my mom told me your admission is done for AIET ... WITHOUT ASKING ME!!.
