Remarks
UU has the best campus. Full of greenery. Fest is held where celebrities are called and it's best life moment. Mess food isnt that good and also placement is little slow. You'll have to go by yourself to companies if you want good placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course food tech is a new course with many job opportunities.Uttaranchal University provides this course.Good faculty with good teaching skills.Every practical is done seriously.Chemicals and instruments are easily available.There's not much work load in class.
Placement Experience
In-campus placement is fine.Food company comes but not with a good package it's just decent.And no, college doesn't provide internship you'll have to do that on your own.College will pick 2-3 students for internship tho.
College Events
Food technology day, nutrients and life sciences seminar, environment day, engineers day, dairy research presentation etc, nobel technology seminar and many events are celebrated where student is given the certificates too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Per semester the fees is around 38k for uttarakhand students and around 44k for non-uttarakhand students.Additional money is taken for events, thesis, seminars.It's a course which can be done in budget.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are differently scholarship opportunity which college gives time to time.You can pay your fees in parts too.And many exams are available where you can get scholarships.I don't know much about it.
Campus Life
Many workshops are held for different days.Events like cricket, football z basketball z swinging z dance, modeling etc.Student gets certificate for it also Attendance too.Blood donation campus are held.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is fine.78k for one year for two seater room.Around 65k for three seater.And 1.1lakhs for single seater.Mess food is just like every mess.Laundry system is good you get your clothes washed and ironed every 4th day.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were really nice.They helped us a lot and when I became a senior I did the same, tried to be helpful and respectful.There's really decent students in UU.Experience of seniors helps a lot in projects.
Admission
I was asked to show my 12th percentage and then the list was made and according to the merit I was selected.Also, a little interview is taken before the addmission.And few questions were asked too before addmission.
Faculty
Faculty is very knowledgeable and have degree from best colleges of Uttarakhand.Every doubt is cleared and teaching is very efficient.Has a good knowledge of practicals.Basic is taught by keeping in mind the competitive exams too.
