Review about my college

College infrastructure is great, they've smart classes with projector and smart boards, big labs. good teachers and other faculties. But the issue is placement, they need to focus on arranging more and more placement drives of renowned companies. Also they need to improve hostel facilities and mess food quality.

College curriculum is quite good, they offer B.tech and MCA courses.In B.tech they have Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer science engineering, Electronic and communication engineering, Civil engineering and Metallurgy engineering.They have fine and trained teachers for every branch.Like other colleges they have 8 semester for B.tech.Now lets see the exam pattern, this college comes under KOLHAN UNIVERSITY, there are two exams taken, first internal college exams and second external university exams.In B.tech there are two type of subjects on the basis of marks, first is of 150 full marks and other is 75 full marks.In the 150 full marks 100 marks is of external exam and rest 50 marks is college internal marks and passing marks is 60, in 75 full marks 50 external and 25 internal and passing marks is 30.External exama are held once in a semester and internal marks given on the basis of college internal exams, attendence, student behavior, in class performance.For the practical exams same pattern is follwed 25 marks for internal and 25 marks for external, internal marks are given on the basis of internal viva, attendence, student behavior, lab manual and external marks is given on the basis of external viva.

Now the most important part comes, what we study for.the jobs, in this area our college is below par, there were only few placement drives of not so renowned companies, sallary package was low below expected.After completion of course we've to struggle outside to get good jobs.This is the area in which our college needs to improve a lot.

About co curricular activities, mainly there's only one FROLIC held in the month of December.Its a college level fest and intra college sports and activity competition.In sports mainly cricket, football, tug of war, volleyball, basketball, badminton, carrom, chess, computer games and in other activities face painting, t shirt painting, rangoli, treasure hunt, quiz, dance, singing and much more.Its the most exciting time for students they study whole year and wait for FROLIC.There are other small function held during republic day, independence day, engineer day etc.For pass out students college arrange ALUMNI MEET every year when pass out students can meet their old friends and refresh their college memories.

According to me the fee structure is bit expensive regarding the facilities provided.College fee should be should be 5-10k less.And hostel fee is also bit expensive regarding the hostel facilities, they have 3 and 4 sharing rooms, with combined toilet in old hostel and common toilet and bathrooms in new hostels.There is Wi-Fi but speed is very low.So on the whole fee structure is bit expensive.

No I've not availed any loan or scholarships.But college gives scholarships to toppers and economically weaker students.Scholarships to economically weaker students is given by jharkhand government college helps in the process.

Lab faculty are also are good, they help students in every way possible.Being computer science engineering student I've attended mechanical labs, electrical labs and civil labs for two semesters only but i must say all of teachers and lab faculty were good, I've attended electronics and communication labs for four semesters and i must say there i learned the most as well as enjoyed the most and computer labs are also great, we have separate college computer labs as well as 2 TCS labs also.In sports mainly cricket, football, tug of war, volleyball, basketball, badminton, carrom, chess, computer games were played and in other activities face painting, t shirt painting, rangoli, treasure hunt, quiz, dance, singing.

There is hostel provided, I've spent first two years in hostel and then moved out.They have 3 and 4 sharing rooms, with combined toilet in old hostel and common toilet and bathrooms in new hostels.There is Wi-Fi but speed is very low.There is water purifier in every hostel, 24 hour electricity.Separate mess for each hostel but food is pathetic.College provides bus facility for hostel student every sunday for shopping purpose, the bus used to drop us at market area and then at evening back to college.Mosquito fogging and pest control is done monthy in hostel and mess.There was a common room where we used to watch cricket matches on television.

There are several Facebook groups of alumni students, they provide information abouts jobs and current trends in industry.Some of the seniors in our college were very friendly and helpful, they helped us in studies, in exam preparation, in understanding the college.They also support us in sports and co curricular activities.They were like friendly big brothers.

I took admission in the year 2012, i have given JCECE 2012 exam, then i attended the counciling process, then according to my rank in JCECE exam i took computer science engineering in this college.After counciling process i directly reached the college to complete the admission process, fill the required forms, submiAt the documents, pay the college fee and hostel fee.After that my admission was confirmed, college authority gave us a date for hostel allotment and then we returned home.

In making a college good or bad the most important part is of the faculty members, here we have not the best but quite good faculties.They are well experience, good with students and helpful.Every branch has a HOD and group of fine teachers and lab faculty.Teachers explain every little details in theory classes and in practicals.Lab faculty are also are good, they help students in every way possible.Being computer science engineering student I've attended mechanical labs, electrical labs and civil labs for two semesters only but i must say all of teachers and lab faculty were good, I've attended electronics and communication labs for four semesters and i must say there i learned the most as well as enjoyed the most and computer labs are also great, we have separate college computer labs as well as 2 TCS labs also.Apart from these college library faculties are also good and helpful, accounts section where we clear our fees and dues that has less staffs college need to recruit there,
