Always positive. Actually it is really a good luck for me, to get admission in this College. The quality of education they provide, moreover the way they provide this is really honorable. Being a student of this College is really an honour.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing mathematics honors. The faculty of our College is really honourable. Most of them are too experienced, and they help us to focus about the career regarding our subject. They describe how we can make our career really worthy. The exam system is too restricted. In one semester, there are two internals and one final exam.
Placement Experience
Look, as it a graduation College, then this kind of College never provide direct placement. But here our College makes a miracle. They organise some placement camp. Some bank, industry like jio has came. But internship is not provided here.
College Events
Our cultural committee celebrates every festival in a different way. They sometime organise film festival, also organise some self help camp and again sometime they organise some blood donation camp. Our College fest is also our pride.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Look, there are semester wise fees structure. If you do graduation in lab based subject like geography, chemistry, physics, computer science, physiology, microbiology, the course fee is little higher than the subject like math, english history, bengali etc. But overall, it's not out of reach for anyone actually.
Fees and Financial Aid
For all category student, the SVMCM scholarship is really worthy, which provide 12000 to 24000 per annum according to student's category. I have availed this. But one type of scholarship is available for only science student, which provides approx 60000 per annum. As I have not availed this, so I have not proper idea about that.
Campus Life
Our College offers NSS - NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME and NCC. Our sports unit is really worthy about our College's pride. The labs may be old, but the equipments are really too good. No type of sexual harassment is tolerable here.
Hostel Facilities
Look, i have not opted for hostel. But the condition of boys hostel is little better than girls' hostel. Though there is not infrastructure issue, but I don't know why this kind of difference is created.
Alumni/Alumna
Our senior was really helpful. Though particularly I didn't get any proper help, but they were eager to do that. They always help us to get our concepts clear which is an extra benefit. And they make us clear that how I can gain the Maximum knowledge from our facility's.
Admission
After 12th board exam, I filled up the form of this College. And as one of the best College in west bengal, all of our friend circle wanted to get admission here. But according to my overall marks, and my subject marks, I got admission in this College.
Faculty
Hats off to the level of their quality of teaching. The way they took such bold things into a smaller one, is really an magic for us. They always tries to clear out basic concept which we should do in every portion of life.
