Experience of college life

The good remark is that, All lab technician, librarian, the management staff were very helpful and caring.

1. The curriculum includes all portion starting from basic cell structure to advance techniques. Also, this curriculum helps me in my dissertation work at CCMB, Hyderabad. 2. Yes college arranged on-campus placements but that is in the field of marketing, so most of us didn't prefer that job. But few of us from our batch got the job. 3. We didn't get chance to go for Industrial visit.

I don't know much about placements in our college but yes I remember, around 108 companies in college list who has visited campus till that time.

We used to celebrate events like Species, Various Days (One of them is Traditional day). It was literally fun and entertaining as we had DJ nights, fashion shows and small sports. Still, that moment is mesmerizing. All batches of D Y Patil used to celebrate an event like one family.

1. Program fee was 1 lac that we have to pay in two instalments in demand draft format. 2. No, I didn't hear about such a case. 3. Yes, transparency was theirs in fee structure and mode of payment. But at some places, I feel that additional fees are expensive, like exam fee, ATKT fee, transcript fee.

Yes, I got a scholarship of 6K every semester and criteria for that is to secure 1st or 2nd rank in the semester. So I got the opportunity.

In our batch, the sex ratio was equal, as all of us had good friends so we didn't face such a case. But yes I would like to comment on Politics which I have seen during dissertation selection. For applying in the different institution we made groups search for a response from an institution so at that time I feel like politics in our own batch.

We had a good relation with our senior and they are helpful in various things like notes preparation, exam preparation future planning. Still few of them is a good friend and I am connected with them on Facebook

I qualified AIEE conducted by D Y Patil college and secured 7th rank. So directly I got admission in M. Sc Genetic Engineering by attending counselling session on 27th July 2013. I choose Genetic Engineering as I was curious about nature's hidden secret.

1. Lectures were frequent and we got proper exposure of all concept. 2. Almost all lecturer were Dr. Few of them are PhD scholars. All of them had good command on their subject. 3. I am not sure about all teachers but some of them had knowledge of industrial work too.
