College of Engineering Roorkee Course curricula is very meticulusly designed and taught. They explain each and every aspects through ppts and black boards. They encourage industry based projects and research based projects. Industry based collaborations are also done by COER

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

College of Engineering ROokree provide 100% placement to its student. Both students i.e. from Engineering and MBA branch have 2 to 3 offers and maximum package goes upto 20 lpa

College Events

Eco club celebrates environment, techkriti club celebrates technical fests, ZION is the annual fest that is being celebrated every year having an outside celebrity entertains the students. Sports club are in place for all the sports related activities.

I got to know about this college through my freinds and close relatives. I opted for this course as it has application in both teaching and research fields. Factors which looked important to me are infrastructure of COER college and teaching resources

Faculty

All faculties of college of engineering roorkee have M.Tech degrees and many of them have PhD degrees. Total number of lectures for one subject per semester are 40 to 50 lectures. The contain expertise in CLoud COmputing IOT big Data Python and Machine Learning

The curriculum of the course is old not as per new trends in job market It's has for all engineering subjects like operating system, cloud computing, c, c++, networking and many more but job trending technology like mern stack, java full stack is not here. The curriculum is not very advanced same as like other universities. The difficulty of exam level is not very high if you are a average student you can easily pass your examinations with excellent marks. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters.

Yes, I have applied for other colleges as well, like JAYPEE Noida, but the main thing is that they are not offering the Computer Science branch there, and it was also quite far from my home. I chose COER as it was an old college like founded in 1996, so it has a legacy, and the faculty are also very experienced, most of whom are doing PhDs from IIT Roorkee itself. Reality of coer college.

I choose this college over other because our college was affiliated to Uttarakhand technical University. Now for upcoming students it is not affiliated to goverment degree it is now affiliated to private degree.I applied for other colleges somewhere fees was expensive and many were having private degree.In our college simply someone has to simply score 50 percent in both 10 and 12.Simply you have to provide fees easily your admission is done....Read More
