JEC Jabalpur : Place to gain knowledge

College is very good. Things that need to be corrected are the labs.

The course curriculum is relevant. The theory we taught here is required in outside industries and companies. The practical aspects are lag behind somewhere. There we need to focus more on practical by ourselves. Yes, the curriculum is sufficient for industrial knowledge. If someone is following the curriculum they will, of course, get to be selected in placement pools. This aspect is somehow lag behind as there are very fewer opportunities to visit industries. We were never taken to an industrial visit.

Companies visited: TCS, Wipro, IBM, Truechip solutions, Birla Corporation, Jayaswal Neco industries, MuSigma, RIL, Reliance Jio, etc. Companies come with their offers and every student is allowed to appear in that entrance test. Then they are selected for the next rounds of recruitment. On an average 40-50%, students got placed. Yes there are so many special classes are arrange by the institution for placement preparation.

There are many technical and cultural events take place in this college. Hectathelon, aureole, prapanch, Ahvahan, Milan, etc. These events supported by the institution but not fully. Maximum part of preparation is done by students themselves. Milan is alumni meet where so many aluminis gathered.

The very advantageous point to join this college is it's fee. The fee is very less as compared to many private as well as other government colleges. Fee can be submitted online by JEC portal with net banking of UBI. No additional fee except the tuition fee and fee for college work is to be paid. Yes college is transparent in it's fee.

Yes, the college provides scholarships to the students with less income. The income of their families must be less than 5 lakh annually. Obc st and SC are eligible for it. For once it is 30k annually and for sc/st it is 40k annually.

Campus life is cool. No discrimination between boys and girls. Everyone is getting the same opportunities but Male female ratio is less. Sports is promoted by the college. Various sports tournaments is organized here. Labs need special attention. Seminars on various topics take place from time to time. No religion racial or gender inequality. No politics in college.

Alumni network is strong. Meets like MILAN make the alumni to feel like before. They always come to visit college and offer help as they can.

This course is very interesting. One gets to know the things which we see Daily in our General life. Electronics is a subject full of curiosity for me. The main factor to choose this college is that it is a very good government college of MP. Affordable with a low price of the fee. Good reputation. Best faculty. Best possibilities of resources. Location is nearby my home. Nice city Jabalpur. Admission steps: required jee main score. MP DTE counselling is must for taking admission here. After allotment of college and branch come to college level verification of documents. Then pay college fee with hostel fee(if applicable).

Commonly there are 5 theory subjects in each semester. And for each subject, we are provided with a specialist Professor. There are at least 10 specific subject lecturers in our department along with HOD. Their average age is something 40 years. They are well qualified and experienced. They have deep knowledge of their specific subjects. They know how to clear a doubt. Yes, some of the lecturers have industrial experience too. They worked there for some time.
