Overview of nit jamshedpur

Infrastructure was not good til now but from next semester onwards new academic building is going to be inaugurated. This is four storey building with centralised AC and sound proof and is 120 seater classroom

Curriculum is recently updated and it is lot better than earlier one it is more focused on material because currently world is running behind material how can they modify the existing property bases upon particular treatment.

Placement are fabulous last year placement record was 98% and many got more than one offer totally there were around 800+ offers and 200 company visited the campus. Internship are also good companies like TRL,Tata Steel, JSL stipend was around 10k/ month.

It's feasible because our fee gets remitted on providing income certificate. Those having income below 1lakh they get full remission and those having income in the range 1lakh to 5 lakh their 2/3rd fee gets remitted.

Inside campus there is SBI branch and nearby campus there is PNB branch where you can get the loan easily.There are many scholarship also offered by the college those are:- FFE, NHFDC,NSP, Tata Cummins.

The annual sports fest of nit jamshedpur is URJA in which several types of a games are available like basketball, cricket, lawn tennis, chess, hockey, badminton, Tug of war, shot put, discuss throw etc.

We are alloted new mega hostel Which is seven storey building having around 750+ rooms. We have got single room where we have 24 hour LAN facilities. Hostel cleanliness is quite good and it is maintained regularly.

Senior are awesome you can contact them at any instant they are too supportive. They always clear my doubts and help from all aspects. I am sharing my personal experience as I am in industry and alumni team they are fabulous.

Through Joint entrance exam basically we had 120 questions 30 questions each from physics chemistry and maths Then we did counseling on JOSSA and got the college based upon our rank. Then we got college we have to report nearby reporting centre for reporting and documents verification.

As it's aware to everyone that in college professor don't care much about the students and they just give their lecture but yes still there are quality teachers they teaches concept vey well.They also teaches from current reserch going in Metallurgical field.
