Because this college is in Delhi NCR, capital region, a better city exposure and also a nice Delhi community. Nearest to my house, which is in UP, in comparison to other colleges I was getting, in Kanpur, in Lucknow, in Ranchi, etc. I have field counselling in GGSIPU, HBTU KANPUR, MMMUT GORAKHPUR, JOSAA I WAS GETTING LOWER NITs, IIITs, and some GFTIs. But the best one was MAIT, Delhi. Admission Process- 4 to 5 rounds of counselling was held and then the spot round counselling was there, in any of the round in which you have a lotted with the seat of your choice you can pay the part academic fee, after that physical verification is held in which the remaining academic fee was given along with document verification, after the admission was confirmed....Read More

I show this call primarily because it offered a cse programme according to my rank which was my high priority despite having offered from ECe branch from other repeated colleges like MSIT and mait. 1 : Reasons for choosing this college : a) Strong five year integrated offer : Idea of doing BBA and MBA in one programme is amazing. It saves time , gives continuity , exposure to management content etc b) Affiliations and Recognitions : GIBS is affiliated with GGSIPU, approved by AICTE that gives credibility , trust etc c) Location and Facilities : Being in Delhi/NCR it was easy for in travelling and also it is just 2-3 minutes away from metro station and also there are safe parking facilities for students who prefer to come by their own vehicles. It also has very good infrastructure. 2 : Other colleges : a) I applied in many more colleges namely VIPS , JIMS , NDIM etc in BBA , BCA etc b) I got selected in many colleges including VIPS but did not go for it due to this 5 year integrated course as it was new course which was released previous year. I was planning for National Law University but couldn't qualify so I ended up in GGSIPU, it was the next best choice as I am based in Delhi . Law is a very expensive profession to study and the course offered by GGSIPU colleges were realtively cheaper and at the end of the day is the degree that is approved by Bar Council of India that matters. I had friends in NLUs and they were getting good internships just because of the NLU tag. For the admission of my college one has to sit for Common Enterance Test(CET), one has to be completed his/her 12th Standard.
