Remarks
Overall college is good but not as per the student's expectations. Infrastructure is good but hostels premises are not always clean. Campus is close and is very good so that people from outside do not gets into college. There is good security too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good in the college. It covers almost every section of the course with effective knowledge. Also there is always an elective paper in every semester. Exams are taken in two term in each semester. First is Mid semester examination and at end of semester is the end semester examination.
Placement Experience
Yes college provide job and internship. It invites many companies across the globe for internship and job. But they are not much. Many of the students do not get Internships and jobs. Specially students of branches like geology mineral civil electrical etc.
College Events
Srijan- annual cultural fest Concetto- tech fest Basant-alumni meet Pratibimb- annual inter department cultral competition ,Sports day, inter department sports competition, inter house sports competition.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very high. It is 1 lac per semester with extra hostel accommodation fee. As per government rules many students gets full fee weiver according to ther family income. Student's with family income less than 1 lac gets full fee concession.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students get Merit Cum Means Scholarship, also from the alumni association students get Indian School of Mines Allumni Association ISMAANAScholarship ships, Sanvik Scholarship and many other scholarship are given to students
Campus Life
In this college sports are very good they are given very high preference. But for the cultural administration js very selective in mind. They do not give more preference to the cultural clubs and society.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are good but there is not proper sanitation and cleanliness. Infrastructure is good and rooms are good but it is single bed room and we are accommodated in two. There is a badminton court in my hostel in every block.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, Seniors are very helpful. And also a great alumni relationship. Many students used to get help from senior regarding academic, clubs,societies and extracurricular activites. Many of the alumni are also in contact with the college
Admission
I got admission in the college after qualifying entrance examination JEE advance after rank announced i did my counceling for admission in which i got a seat in mining Engineering in this college. After that i got admission in this college
Faculty
Faculties are good but not as per college standards. Many of the faculties are very well and renowned in their fields and their teaching style is very good. But some of the faculties are lazy and they don't interact properly in class room.
