Remarks

Our college management is really doing a great job in maintaining all the aspects of the college to run successfully.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are many workshops conducted in our college through the month dealing with every branch. Specialised instructors are invited to make students aware of things going on and making them trained to be industry oriented. Many courses are also held online like MOOC, Coursera etc. Teachers encourage the students to take an interest in these courses and make themselves a better-skilled person than before.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements in our college are quite good. There were the 2 or 3 rounds for the process which includes GD sessions, technical and then the final PI round. Smart training and the competency building programs are conducted in our college for the betterment of the students.

College Events

3.5

There is an Annual fest conducted in march which includes all the technical, cultural, management events. In technical, there are different workshops for the students like capture the flag and some events. The cultural event includes dance, singing, stand up comedy etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course cost me 80k to 90k per year and its worth spending because our college provides all the facilities that are required by the students and the placements are also good so I think the fees are quite normal considering all the other engineering college over India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our college offer scholarship opportunities to the students. The scholarship is offered to the minority groups with an overall percentage of 65.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio in our college is 2:3. There are societies and counsellors as well to help girls or boys in every situation they face in college or outside the college. The counsellors guide the students and motivate them to have a positive attitude.

Alumni/Alumna

In every 6 months, there are alumni meet in which our seniors come to college and interact with us and share their experience in whichever field they are working.

Admission

In 2016, after my boards, I gave JKCET the common entrance test for engineering. I got good rank in JKCET and after attending the counselling round I got MIET. MIET, Jammu is one of the top engineering colleges in Jammu in every aspect. I opted for Electronics and communication branch because I was more interested in hardware than the software part.

Faculty

4

The faculty in our college is very experienced in their respective fields. They have worked in the industries and then came into this profession. All teachers in our department have master degrees and some of them are post graduated. The way of teaching of our faculty is really nice and cooperative in case any doubts occur in minds of students they are available every time.
