Remarks

Vartak college is, undoubtedly, one of the finest places to study in the Vasai region.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is quite relevant to the current standards. The exam structure forces students to think and leave their cocoon shell. The habit rote learning is forgotten due to this. There were also many industrial visits planned by the college, which were fascinating.

Placement Experience

3

I got an internship with L&T (Larsen and Turbo) which is an MNC. The college also has an affiliate program with many other institutions.

College Events

4.5

Vartak College is known for its College events, be it a traditional day, saree day or any other day. There is no lack of celebration. The college did a lot of great work in organizing the events. Cultural events, carried out by them, brought about spiritual awakening inside the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

FYJC - RS 23650 SYJC - RS 189700, 1st Year - RS 11360, 2nd Year - RS 11170, 3rd Year - RS 11495. There were also fees for extracurricular activities like sports, journals, practicals, lab equipment, canteen fees, event fees, party fees and much more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted for the minority scholarship (as I am a Roman Catholic). I had to give a written exam to avail of the benefits.

Campus Life

5

Vartak College is widely known for its campus life. Big campus with soothing infrastructures, like trees is mind refreshing. The adjacent sports ground makes it a great place to hone your physical skills. The gender ratio is close to one, as there are plenty of rules for the safety of women.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network of the ex-students, known as VCAN (Vartak College Alumni Network) is one the largest alumni network in Vasai

Admission

The admission process was pretty simple. I just had to fill the form given on the college's website. When the list came, my name was there (in the list). After that, I personally visited the college to talk about the course structure and fees. There only I paid the fees.

Faculty

3

I could easily contact the faculty as a WhatsApp group was made to help the students with doubt solving. The lecturers were very friendly and co-operative. They made sure that each and every student got personal attention and no topic should be left untouched.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
