My PGDM Review

Our PGDM curriculum was quite thorough. The first two semesters are focussed on covering the general PGDM concepts, like management, operations, HR, etc. The next two semesters are specialization oriented where I learned about financial management processes. The final semester specifically caters to the entrepreneurship.

The placement record is very good for our college. As of today, nearly 85% of the students have been placed in companies such as L&T, Tata Steel, HDFC, Yantra, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc. The highest salary package offered during my batch was around 9 LPA with a variety of profiles offered in marketing, asset management, risk management, human resources, and finance sectors, etc.

The fee for the PGDM program is around 5.1 lacs for the general category. Fee for students from an economically weaker background is less. The college provides a state of the art facilities with digital classrooms, fully stocked library, computer labs, etc.

Campus Life is okay. Infrastructure is good with a gymnasium for boys and girls. our campus is a residential one. discipline and adaptability are the essences of the college. The library contains a plethora of journals, related to management and non-management topics.

The alumni network holds a high honor for the Shri Ram Murti Smarak - International Business School. Many alumni are placed in different profiles across different sectors. BLAZE is an annual event organized for the alumni of the college, where many alumni of visit for an interactive and fun session for current students.

I applied to the PGDM program with my academic details and CAT exam scores. I got a call for the GD/PI round with my 74 %ile scores. Though there was an essay writing round instead of GD, and they grilled me nicely during the interview round. My cousin has done her masters from here, thus SRMS came with high recommendations and despite being in my final year I can vouch for the college.
