Course Curriculum Overview
The subject carried all the perspectives of various sociologists along with with with this the political and social perspective of the course. I am happy that the course am interesting as I learned about Marxist theory, Social deviance and other basics of sociology and theorists like Durkheim, etc.
Placement Experience
The department provides good knowledge and placement related to the subjects Moreover each of us had a different perspective regarding job and career. I want to pursue masters and later on Mphil and PhD. for this also the college helped me a lot.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid around Rs 3450 in my 1st year and the rest of the year I spent only Rs 450 to Rs 500/- as my yearly fees hence, the total cost is approximately Rs 4,310/-. This much amount is quite feasible and pocket-friendly.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni connection of the college was good and it even got better with time. Each year the college promotes the students to take part in various activities. Along with this, the new and upcoming events and conferences and news about any type of jobs whether govt or private all the things are well coordinated with the help of the alumni portal of this college.
Admission
I was a humanities student and in class 12th CBSE boards I scored around 80% with full marks in the English language. Moreover, I was interested in pursuing sociology as my core subject. Therefore I applied here in Ba. Sociology. I applied here through the registration or admission application form giving all the details about my academics and after that, the merit list was published which I fortunately cracked.
Faculty
My professors are good and brilliantly carried out their lectures. I always admire their approach towards the teaching-learning strategy and the best part is they use to give us an immense amount of knowledge regarding the subject prior to the stream.
