Remarks

The management is good but the teachers just aren't. As I've mentioned earlier, there are some really great teachers and some really bad with teaching.

Entrance Preview

I got admission here through the IIT-JEE entrance exam. I had heard about the college that it is good than others like D. Y. Patil(which it really is).

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is as per Mumbai University and does focus on research. Subject practicals like BEE and Physics do provide practical and technical knowledge as well. The college does encourage a studious environment and it shows. Do fill this college's name higher in the list if you're serious about engeering (which you should be).

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come over for placements with average salary being offered anywhere from 80k-4 lakhs.

Placement Experience

4

Companies like Reliance, JSW Steel, etc show up for placement offers. They are good but you need to be focused from the start itself, some companies won't accept a student with an internal KT even if it is dead. So best thing you can do is scoee good marks from the beginning itself.

College Events

4

This year the Freshers' Party was held after a gap of 5 years, not sure why they had discontinued it anyways. There's an annual fest which is quite good. But if you're all about fests and enjoyment, there's D. Y. Patil college for that, also called as RAIT.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Is quite feasible. For the amount of money you pay, the college is good architecture wise. You tend to get lost while searching for labs and canteen but will get used to it pretty soon. The campus is big and the food available at the canteen is reasonably priced and good as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The government does provide scholarship. You'll be eligible for it if you're economically backward and have got admission here because of it.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus is big and quite good with trees on almost all sides. Boys to girls ratio is about 55:45. There are sports like kabaddi and football which you can participate in. Students here are very diverse and some are from as far as Kaahmir as well.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

As i am not a hostel guy i can't really describe it. But from what I've heard from my friends, it seems to be good and the food isn't that good. The advantage is that the college is a short 3 minute walk from the hostel and you can enjoy the variety of fo

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful to newer students. The management is a bit rude to say the least and doesn't help very much. The principal himself is egoist.

Exam Structure

There are two internal exams in the first semester. Practicals will leave you a bit refreshed though because you get a bit of a break from the theory side of subjects and the labs are good themselves. The mechanics labs isnt that good though,it feels a bi

Faculty

2.5

Some teachers are really good with great experience and teaching for that one good teacher, there are 10 who aren't even anywhere near that teacher. So on the whole, the teachers aren't good and you'll be stuck with studies and asking your friends to help
