Remarks

College is too bad. There is nothing apart from studying and attending regular classes. College does not help in the transportation of students or staff coming from Nagpur. They do not help students who goes for pool drive in Nagpur. Time to enter college is last 9 pm and after that, they do not allow students to enter. No events or cultural activities are done art bigger level. Improper infrastructure and bad taste of the food provided in mess.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I'm pursuing mechanical engineering. As a part of curriculum college only focuses on studies. Yes, the curriculum provided a basic knowledge of industries which is helpful for placement. Yes in 2nd-year Industrial visit is conducted for core branches like civil and mechanical.

Placement Experience

1

Companies like disha engineering, endurance, triveni turbines, Bharat forge, educational marketing companies as well as call centre companies have came for campus drive. For other branches they have to go for pool campus drive. Companies take aptitude cum technical pen-paper exam and after that personal interview. Around 20-30 students gets placed every year. No college does not help in any preparation for campus drive.

College Events

0.5

The college conducts only one technical fest of 3 days in 2 years. Annual function, forum events, and cultural program happen every year. The technical fest is of national level however no student from other college visits in this fest. Other forum events are very small and college does not grant permission for a big event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total program fees are 89000 per year. College accepts DD, and cash payment only. For spot admission, the only donation is to be given and standard procedure fees. Yes, they provide transparency in fee structure. It is written on payment receipt given to the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not opted for scholarship or education loan. Management students above 6.5 lpa income are not provided any scholarship.

Campus Life

1

Gender ration is quite equal. College is very strict with giving equal opportunities in everything to girls and boys. Very strict and too many regulations over girls. Extracurricular activities is nothing here. Sports are played quite a lot but it has to be played after college hours. There is no political issues in college. Gender discrimination is a lot. Girls are not treated good by the boys.

Alumni/Alumna

They do take ragging in 1st year. Ragging complaints are not taken seriously as the committee member are students of the final year as well and teachers do not do anything on that. Apart from that alumni are nice and they keep in touch and help for career-related issues.

Admission

It was a known college. My father knew about this college. The mechanical branch is good of this college. Faculty and teaching is good. My admission was done under management quota. It has a good campus area. For admission entrance test are to be given like MHCET, JEE after this exams CAP round is held and on score basis merit list is created. On the basis of seats available and merit, list admission is given.

Faculty

3

There are around 20 faculties in mechanical branch and the average age is above 35. All of them has a PhD. Subjects of their expertise are easy to understand and they give good clarification about that. Yes, the college held industrial visit as well as case studies of the industries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

PICT is known for its placement record, so talking about it more. In the academic year AY 2023-24, even though a massive recession hit the IT industry, PICT students held off and held off quite well. 706 people out of 760 enrolled got placed into a company which makes 92.89% placement. Rest were placed off-campus. The average package CTC was 13.01LPA while the median package CTC was 10.11 LPA. Around 110 companies visited the campus. The hghest package was CTC 47.28 LPA provided by Adobe for Software Engineer role. I am planning on getting placed in a multinational company with a good pay package or do higher studies in physics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect for me choosing my course is analysing what the future have more demand of like 10 to 15 years next thinking about it and choosing the field. The curriculum for our batch is like updated because from the next match that is our juniors they have new education policy 2020 but we don't have this policy so we are updated and we are just learning things that are fathers have learnt which is basically not good for students like us because in this world we are advance in artificial intelligence and this should be aspect of importance. Areas for improvement is that the college should focus on the recent development and happenings in technology and should make student also aware of this.
