Remarks

I am happy that I studied from this college as most of the time there is a negative notion amongst people about government colleges but the fact is the teachers as well as the perception about enhancing the career is much more advance here. And I can proudly say this!

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure contains all the relevant topics covering biology with plants as a core subject. During my student year, I learned about Plant microbiology, Plant ecology, and taxonomy. Moreover, I also learned about Plant physiology and metabolism.

Placement Experience

4

In the campus there is a special section for the final year graduates and post graduates for the placement and internship related queries. And a guidance and career counsellor helps the students to know their capability as well as support them to make a proper career choice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As this was the government college, hence, each and every year the fee amount was less and affordable. My fee during 1st year was someway around Rs 225/- and in 2nd and 3 year it was even less than that only Rs 180/-.

Campus Life

4.5

The special sections like cultural clubs where we use to work as a team and performed various types of dramas. The college encouraged all of us to take part in numerous activities to make our college life fun and interesting.

Admission

I had a keen interest in learning botany after class 12th therefore, I applied for BSC botany in order to study further in this field, and the admission was totally based on the class 12th percentage in Physics, chemistry, biology, and English.

Faculty

4.5

The professors and the lecturers all had 16 plus years of teaching experience, hence, they were very much intellectual and had good knowledge about the subject. Further more, they helped us in engaging in this subject without getting bored.

Placement Experience:

The final year students who will be going to write their last semester will be eligible to attend the placements. There are different companies and various opportunities for students in various departments. The students should be with at least 60% will get the job in placement. All the companies for the placement drive will mainly check their English fluency and their boldness to speak to others. After that, they will check the student's knowledge whether they will fit for their job or not. Most of the students who don't select on a placement drive will have a backup plan to do Msc or MBA or any other preparations for govt exam.
