Remarks
My experience was very good with BITS and it was a career-shifting, if not career changing, experience. I made a lot of friends and had an ample amount of fun, but that all would have gone to vain if it weren't for the placement cell to assist me for my personal venture.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus was up to the snuff and was very thorough. The college offered high-caliber teaching, updated as per the latest industry norms. Course was divided into four semester sessions, each addressing its individual area of concern.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college vary from department to department. For the MBA program, placements were generally good but there is a lot of scope for improvement. The industry-specific curriculum did prepare us for corporate jobs, but the number of companies that visited the campus were limited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid around 1 lakh for the first year and about almost the same for the second year. In total I paid 2 lakhs for the two year MBA program, which is pretty good and feasible as per the industry standards.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were very helpful and supportive. They guided us during the internship process and were the main source of exam notes. Some of our seniors are working in a reputable brand at senior levels. They would visit our campus on different occasions to take part in the interactive sessions.
Admission
Admission process is pretty simple. I applied on the basis of my graduation performance and entrance exam scores. My name was there in the second merit list. After a basic document verification, I was asked to submit the fee.
Faculty
Faculty was as essential as a good curriculum. And our esteemed faculty was up to the industry standards and had the relevant amount of experience. We got decent industry exposure right there within the classroom, thanks to our corporate savvy faculty.
