Our college is a good college. I would rather not make any negative remarks because the college was always helpful to me, since I stepped in to this college. The whole system of this college is excellent.

When I got admission on English HONOURS course of DEROZIO MEMORIAL COLLEGE, i had no idea what the course is, the head of the English department guided us through the course curriculum, she said, "We have to study the meterials provided by the University and in the end of the year, we have to take a test exam which will be done by our college, to check if we are qualified to give the final exam, after we pass, we have to fill a form on the University website to enroll ourselves for final exam of the year, after that we get out admit & we can give the final exam, and it continues for 3 years, with a total of 8 papers, 2 papers on 1st year, again 2 papers on 2nd year, and 4 papers on 3rd year. I'm currently a 3rd year student and I passed both 1st year & 2nd year exams, and 3rd year exam will begin in the end of February, 2020.

No, my college doesn't provide intership, they might be, but i never heard of it. There are no placement of jobs, after completing B.A/B.SC/B.COM course from our college one will get a bachelor degree, to continue higher students on a university or apply for jobs.

Freshers - Each year, Our college principal and the student union organises a welcome party for the new students. Teachers' day - on 5th September we, students celebrate teachers day to appreciate their hard work of teaching us. I've never attended any other events, so don't know.

We have to pay the fees of electricity, students union, water, library, coaching, playground, and a bunch of others too. Compared to other colleges, our college is expensive with our fees, atleast by 15% to 20%.

Yeah, brilliant students get scholarship from college, I have never availed, as I'm not that much a brilliant student. There is no loan facility available at our college, you can take students loan from bank, for that you can get an approval from college, and that's it.

There is no extracurricular activities on our college. Yes, there are labs of physics, chemistry, botany, maths. They are neat & clean, and they are open to use for the depertment students, other depertment students aren't allowed inside the lab.

No I've not opted for hostel, as there is no hostel infrastructure of our college. No hostel is present, if you want to stay near College, you can hire an apartment or 3rd party hostel nearby. Otherwise you can just be a daily driver from school to college like me.

Senior students are helpful, they show up now & then at our college after graduation. They provide us with information about our studies, courses. They guide us. If we need help, they are always ready to do so.

I applied for the English HONOURS course on 2017 after getting my Higher Secondery result from WBCHSE. After few days, my name came on merit list, and then they called me for interview, after interview I was selected, and after that I had to pay the fees for my admission on 1st year.

College employees, professor, the principal and the Students Union, works hard to keep a balance in college, and it's a nice system they build, which makes this college wonderful. Each professor of our college are kind, and they teach every topic very carefully, the student union always ready to help in need, and the office employees manages documents works.
