College Review

There are less job opportunities that a student gets after he or she graduated from the bachelorette degree in our college. But the students have well performed in various sectors passing from this college.

The course structure is good. It has 6 semester divided in 2 semester each year. Students have to give internals and University exams both. It covers all the areas related to commerce like banking, income tax, cost accounting, financial accounting, etc.

There are a few placement and job opportunities that come inside the collwge campus. But it provides best kind of education related to commerce. This is the best college in Rourkela for Commerce stream. There is no opportunity for college paid internship.

There are various festivals celebrated in our college. The annual sports meet is also conducted every year. Then there is the annual function that is conducted in which various performances are done.

The fee structure of college is feasible. Yearly fees of the college is 6000 rupees and the there are fees for every semester of 760 per student. The fee structure is better for poor and middle class families who cannot afford college with more fees.

There is no such facility relating to scholarship or loan given to students by the college. As the fees charged by the college for the courses offered is very feasible, there is no requirement of scholarship or loan to be given. Fees for SC and ST are a little lower than that of general.

There are various extracurricular activities that are held. Starting from annual sports, there are various opportunities related to that. Hockey, kabaddi, cricket are even played at state levels from our college.

Senior students have always been cooperative regarding doubts and then they are always helpful for us regarding details to be given about fees and colleges. They help us in guiding various courses and streams.

We fill up the form which has details to be mentioned about our own self and other details including the marks scored by us in 10th and 12th boards and then we submit the form along with the required marksheet and then wait for the merit list to come, which is based on the percentage scored by student in 12th boards

The faculty is good. As far as I know, going to college is compulsory and students are given attendance for every period by the particular subject teacher. Teachers take up initiative to keep the students on the right track, teach them what is needed.
