Remarks
The overall opinion is that it is one of the most prestigious institutions and have been awarded the best college award several times. Being located in the city it does not have a huge campus. The college has a state of the art infrastructure and amenities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a comprehensive one to cater to the all round development of the student. Regular study can help the student stay ahead of the course and perform well in the examinations. The exams are conducted in two phases:- 1. in-semester exam of 30 marks. 2. End semester exam of 70 marks. The examination structure also includes practical examinations.
Placement Experience
The college has a dedicated training and placement cell which works throughout the year to provide the students with opportunities to be placed in top companines accross various sectors such as IT, ELECTRONICS, MECHANICAL. The T&P cell also takes great efforts in providing excellent training before the placements to make the students ready for the professional environment.
College Events
There are a vast number of events organised in the colleve throughout the year. An annual tech fest is organised every year. A cultural festival is celebrated annually. We have an annual sports meet. All sucj events are organised by the students with minimal help from the faculties which help them develop interpersonal skills and team work spirit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the curriculum is set according to the government regulations and is quite appropriate. Being an open candidate my fee structure is Rs. 100000 annually which is pretty much ok considering the quality of the education provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being an open candidate i dont have appropriate knowledge about the scholarship process. But yes there are various scholarship provided by the government and the collge administration aids the students in availing such services.
Campus Life
There are various extra curricular activities organised by the students of various departments throughout the year which create a good environment for the students. Labs are very good and contain the state of the art technologies which help the students in learning the new latest technologies. An annual sports meet is organised every year.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni and the senior student and very helpful in every topics. There is no kind of ragging on or off campus. The seniors take pleasure in helping out the juniors in academics as well as personal problems.
Admission
I had appeared for the all india JEE examination. After the result you have to fill up a DTE form to start the admission process. Aftet the initial form filling the next process is to fill in the names of the desired colleges. As the allotment list is finalised you are alloted a college. Based on your choice you can join the college or you can apply for the next round. If you choose to join the college you have to visit the college and complete the admission procedure with the admissions office.
Faculty
The faculty is very good and friendly with the students. They are extremely helpful and also provide students with opportunities to develop and showcase their skills. They help the students not only in academics but also in personal matters.
