Remarks

Quite an experience. It's not everyone's cup of tea and a lot of people have their own opinions. Personally I think it has the same issues that most colleges would have when it comes to the student body but the teachers for life sciences are exemplary. the one drawback maybe is that the ventilation is horrible and there's maybe one tree on premise but all in all, it's decent

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is excellent, college is autonomous. Exam structure for BSc students is 60/40, 2 semester exams with internals online. Each year you get to drop a subject till you reach your main subject that you're interested in majoring in

Placement Experience

3.5

No the college doesn't provide internships for science students but they're encouraged by the faculty and the faculty can help in recommending internships but there are no campus placements as far as I know

College Events

3.5

Visions, college fest. Kalpavriksha: Botany department festival. Exzooberance: Zoology department. Utkarsh: mini fest. the cultural committee has various events going on throughout the year and the students are duly noted

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for science students. The fees for BSc (normal) is usually under 7.5k for both semesters and is inclusive of lab fees, library fees and other things. Extra charges can only be applied for breakage and excursions as and when they occur

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I'm not aware of any such facility provided by any donor but there may be such opportunities available via the government or any funds. It's not made public to students if such a trust exists so idk much about that

Campus Life

1.5

Labs are average to good. MSc labs are not particularly well furnished but the BSc labs are well lit, clean and operable. the staff and the teachers are encouraging of any extracurricular activities like sports or fine arts

Alumni/Alumna

Helpful yes, they help sponsor certain events in the quadrangle occasionally but for the most part alumni and students don't have much contact unless they're known to the students in some other sense apart from this.

Admission

Applied for the college via submitting the marksheets (X, XII) and filled out their forms after XII results. When my name appeared on the merit list, I applied and the admission procedure took about a week

Faculty

5

Life sciences (Zoo/Bot) staff is remarkable. excellent teachers with great knowledge. Teachers are very helpful and try to make the most of their lectures and the curriculum lets them give practical knowledge on the subjects too

Yes, I want to say about fee structure because it is a little bit too high for a middle-class family and according to their study level. They give their best but they charge very high for it and on this, middle-class students never get a good study.
