Remarks

It was an average college overall but our electronics & communication course was good. Me being in civil & being the first batch in our college want that great, we had a hard time, the facility also had a hard time & hadn't create a system of how the department has to work, after my batch they had a clear view of how the department has to run & had major changes when I visited the college after a year or so.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Honestly speaking it wasn't that good not that bad, my batch was the first for civil engineering in my college. Being the first batch it had its ups & downs. But sometimes it feels like we were being experimented on.

Placement Experience

3

There were no job placement for my batch of civil engineering and it was the first batch and being experimented on they wouldn't take the risk. While other branch had placements, but most of them where IT companies. Most of the students from computer background were lucky enough to even attend campus placement. The non computer students had no choice but to look for a job outside campus, but students from other branch couldn't attend the IT companies interview & get jobs.

College Events

4

Our college had 3 main events which was sports, departmental fest & a college fest. Even though our semester was for 6 months each we had a lot of fun in these events. Sports fest would go on for a week to 10 days. Departmental fest had to be organized by each department of the college where u can see different games to be played in each department & the college fest was where any student can perform & show their talents like singing, dancing, skits etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was a bit high for the college being an noon aided college. But their were scholarships for noon general category students from the government. The facilities of the college could have been better

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there were scholarships but for noon general category students from the government. You would be requested to submit certain documents like caste & income certificate, bank details etc. But to get the scholarships would take time like 6 months & would be given a check to the students hand, parents would not even get to know about this. I haven't heard of a scholarship for general or Merritt students in my college & the administration staff are very friendly people unlike other colleges they help out with everything

Campus Life

3.5

The best part of the college was all the extracurricular activities all of our lecturers would be cancel just to each college life. We had sports like cricket, valley ball, basket ball & indoor games like carrom, chess etc. Our departmental fest was good there would be various games from each department like drag races, tug of war, singing, dancing etc

Alumni/Alumna

There wasn't any network or such. My batch was the first so we were the seniors & had no help from any students. Not many of our Juniors also replied on our help of the exams or projects. There were very few students in touch with us.

Admission

My admission process was through CET(common entrance test) based on your ranking you will be allowed a college & course which you have a option in the selection process, after which you are required to visit the CET cell for document verification. So after the verification at CET cell which include most of your pre University & school documents like original marks card, study certificate, transfer certificate and many other things, after which you will be give an admission card which is to be submitted to the college & the last sleep is ready just go to the college fill few forms & pay the fees.

Faculty

3

Few of our college faculty's were good, they were strict in class but friendly outside the class, they had good experience & knew the subject quite well, the pan experience were fun to do but sometimes just too much hard work. while there were others with no teaching experience, they couldn't handle the class & it other lecturers should step in to control the class.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
