Remarks

College is a nice and peaceful place to study. It has a beautiful premises with all basic facilities. Teachers are also experts of their subjects.one may opt this college to obtain traditional graduation degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

College follows semester pattern of examination. Syllabus is latest and covers all important aspects. Exams takes place 6 times at the interval of 6 months. Each sem is followed by internal exam of 20 marks at college and end sem exam of 80 marks at centre.

Placement Experience

There is no scope for internship. Some companies visit the college to recruit the students. But it rarely happens. Recruitment camps are organized separately by State government at some other place where students can participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. It is a government college. Fees are nominal. There is no admission fee for girls. Sc/St students may avail fee concession. Admission fee is around 2000 and examination fee is around 700 per sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't provide any scholarship. But any government scholarship may be obtained by the college. Loan facility is not available. All scholarships of UGC at ug and intermediate level may be obtained.

Campus Life

Labs are good. There are separate labs for physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. Lab instructors are available in physics and chemistry department only. There are sufficient equipments and chemicals in lab. College has a basketball ball court for students.

Alumni/Alumna

There are no alumni networks. Senior students never get chance to meet in the campus. But these arrangements are in progress. An alumni cell is proposed in the college. In near future there will be alumni meets regularly.

Admission

Apply online at chancellor portal. Merit list will be issued on the basis of marks obtained in intermediate level exam. Visit the college for physical verification of application form with original certificates and relevant documents.

Faculty

Faculties are highly talented and educated. There is lack of permanent faculty due to which contractual assistant professors are being appointed. These temporary facilities are also expert of their relevant subjects.

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Sindri College, Defines Education is Welfare not Business

When I was enrolled the admission process is done completely offline. But nowadays all process of admission is via online from applying to admission.
