Remarks

My college and all the stuffs are very positive about study, any type of cultural programme, any type of help like medical and poorness. They always suggested us not to give up ata any critical conditions in our life. They were always with us positively.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The exam process was very enjoyable and very interesting for me. Because bengali literature is always a special thing for me. There was 3 final exams for the course and before every final examination there was a test examination for the students, that the feel their condition before the final test.

Placement Experience

5

There have no placements & job opportunities. Because this is only a graduate course college. Every candidate cam complete their course of graduation from this college. But after completing the graduation course the students can apply for the various post where they needs a qualification of graduate.

College Events

5

Every year we celebrated the re-union in our college. It was a departmental programme. The pass out students of our department also appeared there to participate the programme. After that every year we held a 7 day special camp from the department of NSS. This was also a memorable story.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of course is very few and feasible for everyone. For the admission we spent 1370/- only and after that every month 75/- for monthly fees. There was a concession for the SC/ST candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was a scholarship for everyone who got minimum 75% number in higher secondary examination. By this process I got a scholarship of rs-9000/- for the first year. After that I filled up the renual form and again I got 9000/-.

Campus Life

5

There have a special facility in admission for the sports person. They have an another quota for admission. Every year the college makes a sports championship in college field like cricket match football match etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

No, I used to go to the college from my home everyday. From my home place the college was 35 minutes distance by train. So it was very easy for me to travel every day. But another side there was the hostel facility for the others students who were came from a long distance.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were always helpful for us. They helped us from the first day of our college life. For any cind of help we requested to them to solve our problems and they really helped us to solve our problems. So it became very easy and friendly for us.

Admission

At first I filled up the admission form which was provided by the college. After that the published the merit list and Counciling date. On that day I went to the college, the verified my documents and selected me as a student of the institute.

Faculty

5

The teachers of the college is very positive minded and encouraging. Every time they helped us to survive from our problems. I'm very thankful to our subject teachers, because of their guidance. Due to belonging form a lower class family I had no tutor. At that time they helped me very much.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
