Remarks

Our own College have play ground in the back yard and other one is also in the indoor stadium. So it is a very good way to have the game and also other activities for the college. Our tutorial class are also helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's much better than any other colleges. It's not a autonomous. So we will have to go in other colleges for the exam. It's very good way to have our own exam with out any problem and also a good way to attach with the other colleges.

Placement Experience

2

No no there is no internship test provided by our college. In all our department there will be no job or placement opportunity. I don't have any other experience about this matter. I don't know about the internship test.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Sometimes it takes a lot of fee. Which is not a legal way to the others who r not good enough for the money. It looks like the only way to get the money from the bank with out the permission. BT no way to get the refund because we will have to pay that for our exam admit and marksheet.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have a great scholarship BT some of my friends are eligible for the scholarship. The name of the scholarship is bikashbhaban. There's a sufficient amount of money provided by the scheme. Most probably the money is 18000.

Campus Life

3.5

Yes there is a separate sports unit in our college. where is also a couse of physical education. There is also a play ground in the back portion of the college. There is also a indoor stadium. Where we can play different sports.

Hostel Facilities

4

No no I am a regular student so I don't have any hostel. My college is only a distance from my home which is not more than 1 km. So I don't have to pay hostel charges. BT there is a hostel for boys and also a hostel for the girls.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes in my college there is a lot of senior group. BT they are really helpful. They helped us by providing us the last year notes about our subject. They also help us to assist us in our practical exam. They helped us with the proper guidance by the rules and regulations for the college.

Faculty

3.5

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

Placement Experience:

In today's competitive job market it becomes important for the college to not just help students get degrees but also provide them with placements and internships so that they can have the experience needed to stand at a competitive footing with the rest of the candidates in the world. To look into this, St. Xavier's College has a Placement Cell run by Placements officer Mr. Niladri Sinha under whose guidance, various companies visit the college regularly looking for capable young minds to take under their wing and help provide them with the necessary exposure and experience so that they can combat any obstacles that they face.

Placement Experience:

The college offers good placements for economis. Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements and there is a cell dedicated to placements. Many students do not opt for placements and go for higher studies but many students who opt for it, get placed with decent packages. Many well-known companies visit the campus as well. I wish to explore my options after completing the degree as of now.

Placement Experience:

We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. The highest packages could surpass 12-13 LPA and median packages are close to 6-7 LPA. DE Shaw, Zomato, Myntra, Meesho, TCS and McKinsey are some top companies coming here.
