Lourdes matha college have its own positives and negatives.overall college provides good learning environment for the students.Mostly college prefers good results over extra curricular activities.I think college put a lot of pressure to its student.
Course Curriculum Overview
Currently LMCST following APJ Abdul kalam technical university syllabus.So for btech 6 semesters are here.So yearly 2 semesters exams and 3 internal exams are here.Course curriculum is now better after shifting from kerala university syllabus.But exams are tough and year out is applicable.
Placement Experience
In this college there is a dedicated placement cell.Placement cell arrage multiple campus placement drives in every year.Companies like IBS Software,UST Global ,Infosys recruit fron here.College now provides internship programs and workshops to students for improving thier skills.
College Events
In LMCST mainly two events happend every year one is EQUINOX which is a annual inter college techno culture fest.another one is annual sports meet.But each branch organize their own fests here.Also one day seninars,workshops etc are conducted here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Now a days LMCST fees are very very low as compare to its previous fee structure.EC,EEE,CS courses have 10K.For mech and civil 20K is fee.But there is also available scholarships for meritus students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Lourdes matha educational society who manages the college provide scolarships for the students who all are financially backward.Also AICTE scolarship is available for students who joined college via KEAM entrance.AICTE scolarship is a very good scolarship which provides full tution fee wavier to meritus students who is financially backward.
Campus Life
Lourdes matha college have good labs for each department.college provides lot of important to sports.So they provide good aminities to students for sports.But overall compare to other collges these facilities are average.
Alumni/Alumna
Lourdes matha college have a very good alumni network who provides lot of support to college to establish good aminities and placement to students.Alumni also organise various charity programs all across kerala.
Admission
In my college,two admission process is available.50% of admission based on management merit list and 50% is from kerala state entrance score.In 50% management seats contains some NRI seats.After getting your 12th mark ,one can apply for management seat or NRI.Fees is same for both.Other 50% is filled by KEAM entrance rank list by CEE
Faculty
College faculties are good as per their degrees and quality of teaching is above average for most of the faculty.But some of them are very good in their job and their notes are very good for a average student.
