Remarks

Positive remarks about my college is that the my are doing all types of activities.Our college provides all kinds of activities. So that he can develop the Communication Skills Education Level and Present of Mind so that he does not feel any kind of fear if he sits with any company. And negative remarks is that the college are not provide any loan so that all students are studies there

Course Curriculum Overview

My opinion on the course curriculum is that the all courses are teaches in my college like as - B.tech, M.tech, Msc, MBA, and so on.I am the B.tech student so my opinion about B.tech course is that it is best from my thought and exam structure of my college is that every semester exam will be done and two MST(mid semester test) will also doing in our college

Placement Experience

In my college placement and job opportunities are good because if students are studies very clearly then they are done for job and in my college many companies are visits like Byjus, Amazon, BHEL, etcectra and in 2018 Byjus is hire some students in packege of 10 Lakhs per annum

College Events

In my college many event are celebrated every years some fews day before many events and there in my college like roodies, written test on the given topic, debate, Group discussion and many more event and also done the college function name as "Tarannum"

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college is very expensive in my thought because every semester fee is approximate 53,000 then some students are not able to pay this semester fee then they are leave the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college no any loan facility are there but only scholarship are offering by the college who is given by the Punjab government scholarship and this scholarship only those student whose marks in every semester is 7 SGPA or above.If any student have 7 SGPA or above then 50% fee is discount and also fee waiver are there in my college only for punjabi student who is not able for paying the fee

Campus Life

In my college extracurricular activities, labs, sports are good. In my department many labs are there and all are good because all equipment are working properly and when I experiment in the labs then reading and wave module are gives correctly and also sports are there in my college like cricket, football, badminton, kabaddi, Chase, and every year there is sports competition so all are good in my college.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I am living in hostel of the college. In my college total 4 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel are there. My hostel is some good because every student has single room and we can study in any time no any disturbance and my hostel infrastructure is better as compare to good my rating is 3.8 out of 5.

Alumni/Alumna

All alumni network and seniors students are very good. Because he always supports us and keeps teaching at every turn or how to do what not to do. Not only this, he also tells us how to improve communications with a company. They are very helpful for all junior students

Admission

First of all when I passed the intermediate exam from our 10+2 college then I search a government engineering college in Punjab and I got this college and I fullfil the registration of this college and after some time merit list is declare and my name is shown in merit list and I got admission

Faculty

My opinion about faculty of my college is that all faculty are best because all are well educated and skilled person as well as very experienced faculty members Especially in my branch (Electronics and communication department)

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
