Remarks

College is a self financing college. Infrastructure of the college was not good. Lack of permanent teachers are a major problem. The set up of lab was not good. Non availability of equipments in lab is a problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our curriculum is based on calicut university curriculum. And exams are conducted on the date decided by University of calicut. Semester system is following our college and each semester exam will conduct after the end of the semester.

Placement Experience

1.5

Talking about placement our college does not provide placement and job opportunities. And college not giving any type of stipends to the student. My overall experience was iam not satisfied with my college.

College Events

3.5

Main events held in our college are college Union inauguration, Onam celebration, fine arts day, Sports day, Association programmes and College day programme. Many another programmes also celebrate in college.

My college is a slef financing college. So the fee structure is based on university fee structure. Foe each semester university decided a fee. It may different for courses. Also a mandatory fee will be required for writing the semester exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does not provide any scholarships for students. University and government and other sectors provide different kind of scholarships to the students. Post metric scholarship, central sector scholarship are some examples.

Campus Life

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has a alumni association. But it doesn't work efficiently. But when college need any help they are serve their maximum for the college. Senior students are connected with all students by alumni association.

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
