My college review

Every coin has a two side. The positive side being the job opportunities and the different exposures a student get with various clubs and societies which help students with their co-curricular development. The negative remark being the tough curriculum and relative grading.

Course Curriculum is little too hard looking at it's relative grading. Relative grading means if a certain no. of students are getting A grade, that many students will also get F grade which means fail.

Job placement are better than any other Tier 2 college. 38 companies came last time for recruitment. Also college also provides interships. Since I am a sophomore, i don't have stipend yet but soon I aim for a job.

There are three major festivals in our college in around January. 1) Science and technology fest called Plinth. 2) Sports Fest called desportivos 3) Cultural Fest called Vivacity. There are many events throughout the year.

Expensive but ok. Our college is in debt so the college is taking very high fees but that is temporary. Every year there is a 10% hike in fees which is too much. Director said the college is in debt and he has plans till 2035.

There is a certain scholarship for students who have 9 plus GPAs and extra scholarship for those who have 9.5 plus GPAs which motivates student for higher GPA. I am not sure of the loan though. But there are banks which are willing to give student loans.

The labs are good and the sports activities are also good. There is a college fest for sports only which is called desportivos which has a maximum number of footfall. Labs are in good condition and the electronic slabs for getting updated with the time.

There is alumni club in our college for networking with the seniors. Also senior students are of very much help. They help with the recommendation letter and with the internship. Seniors also helped by giving notes.

Got to give an examination called JEE Mains in which a rank is obtained and then Cutoffs list are released. Based on the rank, Branches are alloted like I was alloted CSE branch which is the top branch in college.

Faculties are well educated and we'll experienced. Many Teachers comes from IIT Kanpur after their retirement so their experience is unmatched but there teaching are not up to the mark. 35% teachers are good but the rest are not up to the mark.
