Remarks

No freedom for students, placements are majorly in IT firms, facilities for co-curricular activities are not up to the mark. Free gym facility is available for students, fee supportive and friendly faculties are available which is a real blessing

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is stricly based on the new Kerala Technical University syllabus. The university syllabus gives equal importance for extra curricular activities as well but that is not happening in the college. Exams are conducted quarterly for internal marks followed by the University exams

Placement Experience

2.5

The college claims a placement statistics of more than 90% of students getting placed. However majority of these placements are in IT firms and there are few opportunities for core job seekers. No kind of internships are provided by the college.

College Events

2.5

Techfests are conducted every year with lot of inter college events with excellent prizes. Students get s chance to demonstrate their technical talents during the fest. Art fest is also conducted every year with inter department competitions which offers students an opportunity to showcase their talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee Structure is a bit expensive. A hosteller will have to spend a total of approx 7 lakh rupees for the entire academic program including the food and accommodation facilities. However fee waiver is offered for economically backward students

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing of its kind is being offered by the college. However fees waiver will be provided for economically backward students and the students who secure top ranks in entrance examinations. The students who secure ranks below 1000 in the state entrance exam are offered with 200% fee waiver

Campus Life

5

Labs are of international standards but the facilities for sports are not up to the mark. Grounds are not properly maintained. The football ground has been provided for external agency for lease are students are deprived of the access to football ground

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel infrastructure is very good. Different classes of rooms are available as per the requirement of students like single room, 2 sharing room, 3 sharing room, ac room, non ac room etc. The hostel also has a very good mess which provides tasty and healthy food for the inmates.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Alumni activities are active in the college. The alumni team is very active on supporting start ups and providing necessary guidelines for the entrepreneurs in the making. Also alumni gatherings are conducted every year.

Admission

Merit list is prepared for the applied candidates on the basis of the Kerala Engineering Entrance examination rank combined with class 12 marks. Students will be called for interview and docent verification on the basis of the rank list and shortlisted candidates will be selected for admission. A separate entrance examination is being conducted for NRI candidates

Faculty

3.5

Many faculties pretend to be very strict and try to interfere even in the very personal mattersof the students. There aren't much faculties who try to hear the comments or feedback from the students. But the real blessing is the few faculties who really understand the students and their passion

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
