Entrance Preview

I appeared for JEE Mains and other national level exams and also appeared for SRMSAT. I was failed to qualify for JEE Advance, but somehow managed to get a reasonable rank in SRMSAT of 12k approx. Thus this made me choose this university.

Placement Experience

4.5

Being an first year, it is hard to tell about job placements but seeing seniors get placed in good companies, i would definitely say that, their is an wide scope of opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, SRM do provide scholarship for the students who score CGPA above 9.5 and their are some banks inside SRM, they provide educational loans.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty awesome. The gender ratio will be 3:2(boys: girls) .Students come here from all over india so it is pretty diverse. There are tons of extra curricular activities like robotics debate quizzes etc.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
