Remarks

The college was one of the best private medical college in Tamil Nadu. They provide good infrastructure. The cons are many senior most experienced professor have been retired. Also there won't be much patients compared to government colleges and so you will have less clinical exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is as you all know difficult only. Take this course only if you have interest. Otherwise it will be very difficult for you. You will have 2 internal assessment and atlast university final examination.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are by your own. You have to do 1 year internship. There won't be stipend instead hostel and food will be free. The internship period is mandatory and it is called CRRI. After finishing the course there are always demand for doctors.

College Events

3.5

There will be culturals every year. There will be intercollege sports fest also. Apart from these two all other events will be academic events. There will be lot of CMEs, National conference, etc., There will be intercollege quiz programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in private medical colleges are always high. The fees structure are as per government norms. The current fee structure is eighteen lakhs per year (1800000?). Apart from this you may also need to pay extra for hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

There isn't any scholarships available in my college. But there are educational loan facility that you can avail through college or you can also avail it through public or private banks. Since the fee is more most of them avail educational loans and it is easy to get also.

Campus Life

3

There won't be any extracurricular activities provided by the college. But you can do whatever you want after class hours. There are Cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, badminton court, etc where you can play. There are also good lab facilities as clinicals/ practicals are very important in MBBS.

Hostel Facilities

3

No I am not a hosteler. I am a dayscholar. But I heard the hostels are somewhat good and getting better day by day. There are air conditioned and non air conditioned rooms available. They provide both veg and non veg foods.

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the alumni are always in touch with the management and the professors. The seniors will be helpful as you need their help most of the time. The seniors will help you in passing the exams, doubts, sports, etc.

Admission

NEET counseling. You can apply once you are an eligible candidate and you can choose this college through NEET counseling. The details regarding applying for counseling will be put up in government websites. Also contact college management for any queries.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are good. But there are always some faculties who will not be so friendly and it will be better if you stay away from them. All other faculties will be friendly and you can clarify any doubts with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
