IIIT is one of the premier Institutes of Odisha and we are proud to be the students of IIIT. It should be a great experience here for anybody as the college life here is very unique.

I got here through OJEE. It is a state level entrance examination,but now IIIT Bhubaneswar accepts students through JEE-Mains score.I opted for IIIT because it was a government college already starting to gain a lot of reputation. It is a unitary university now and has its own curriculum and admission process.

The course curriculum is very detailed and precise with the required subjects .We have 4 Branches here for B. Tech i. e Computer Science,Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical and Electronics engineering , 2 Branches for M. Tech i. e Computer Science and Electronics and Telecommunications and Ph.D is also provided in Electronics and Telecommunications and Completely Science.

Yes, IIIT Bhubaneswar does provide internship in Dell. Dell hires interns from IIIT and the stipend is Rs. 25, 000 per month. The internship is provided in the summer for 3 months.

The placements and job opportunities are brilliant here considering that the college is very new.Companies like Dell, Infosys, ITC infotech, Incture technologies, Mindtree, Tech mahindra,IBM, Capgemini, Amdocs, Samsung, SAP Labs, IBEXI, Master, Snapdeal have visited the campus for placements in the past years with Infosys,Capgemini, IBM as the mass recruiters.The highest package is offered by Snapdeal with a ctc of 15 lacs pa.

We have many cultural, technical events as well as events organised by the IIIT E-cell.Various workshops,seminars and robotic events are also organised.Also, we have the inter college techno cult fest,advaita every year which witnesses many partcipants and celebrities like Mohd. Irfan, Divya Kumar, Sneha Kapoor, Mohena Singh .Also, we have events of Spicmacay too and the world famous flutist,Hariprasad Chaurasiya as well as the slide guitarist and grammy winner,Vishwamohan Pandit have also visited in Spicmacay.

The fee structure is affordable with special Tution Fee waiver for some students. In general,the fees are around Rs. 75,000 per semester including the hostel fees. The tution fees is Rs. 50, 000 and the other fees included are IT services ,Library services, bus services, hostel fees, mess fees.

No, the college doesnt provide scholarship yet. But, it has a partnership with Andhra Bank which provides loans.

The female to male ratio is 1:2. We have a lot of workshops,robotic events, cultural events including Spicmacay etc. which are also covered by the local media. The students are from all over the country with the majority being from Odisha.There is no discrimination here on any grounds with the students from very broad minded backgrounds. Parties are regular affairs here, including on festivals like Diwali, Christmas, New year, Holi and on a lot of other ocassions and events. The restrictions here for students staying out is very tolerant even for girls compared with other colleges in the state. There is no dress code here also.The economic statuses of all the students are quite sound.
