Remarks

Positive remarks are there is a large variety of specialisation. A very diverse spectrum of topics and theories. Negative would be there is a lot of bureaucracy as symbiosis School for Liberal Arts is part of The Symbiosis International Deemed University

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is good. 19 core papers, 8 elective papers, 10 Major Papers and 8 minor papers. Every semester there are 6 courses a total of 12 classes a week. Over four years you have to write two reports on social work and your internship followed by a seminar paper and your final thesis

Placement Experience

3

The opportunities as of now are unknown. People out of Liberal Arts tend to specialise in other things prior. Students from the Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts. We are also connected to international banks too.

College Events

4

We have the orientation event every fall semester where all the clubs have booths and workshops and the freshman can join. We have the SSLA Summit which is a giant Model United Nations. We also have sports events coordinated with parent University of Symbiosis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are a little more than 4 lakhs per annum. You can get hostel accommodation for 3.8 lakhs per year. You can also get accommodation in private hostels. Tribe hostel is the best hostel in the area.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships but there is quota system. You can apply for student loans from other Banks. Other than that there is no college or financial aid whatsoever. Why are the answers 200 characters at least.

Campus Life

3

There are adequate sports facilities. Like a gym, basketball court soccer field, badminton courts, tennis courts and volleyball courts. We also have a table tennis table and carom board on campus too.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a large network of alumni and reaching out to them is fairly easy. They are helpful to an extent I would say. Other than that I have no further comments on the alumni. The seniors in college are very helpful too.

Admission

First you give the SET exam then you get chosen for an interview and another test at the college in Pune. Then you give a written test and interview called PIWAT. Upon the interview and the essay you get an email over three different merit lists and your bsne

Faculty

3.5

The college faculty is a mixed bag with great teachers along with some mediocre ones. We get external faculty for certain courses and they're all great professionals. On top of that we have committees in order to regulate our teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the subjects are Pretty relevant to real-world for example i have economics and psychology as one of my subjects and in economics for 2nd year we are learning public finances and indian economy i would say it is pretty useful. As for psychology the practicals and theory is useful is you are considering a career in psychology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Placement Experience:

The majority of students are ignorant of the college's placement cell, particularly those in the arts department. However, 50% of students from the prior batch of BA third-year students were offered internships in our program. The greatest package offered was up to 17 LPA, while the lowest package offered was 7 LPA. Some companies, such as HDFC and TCS, were present. College placements are not ideal, and only a small number of students opt for them. The vast majority of students opt to continue their studies. The college placements are average in general. My plan is to go for higher education after getting degree.
