College needs better management if they want to improve their ranking significantly with more focus on extra curricular activities.

There was no entrance exam at the time of my admission,however if you want to get into nowadays CET is must.

Course curriculum was as prescribed by the Mumbai university,old and not updated. There are newer courses like robotics and advanced computer programming are on offer. This college is one of the very few colleges offering marine engineering leading to career in navy. The college has electronics,computer science,tele communication and information technology as the key courses.

College as far as my understanding has limited internships on offer except the computer science field. The college does have tieups with some companies but only the exceptional student with recommendation from seniors,faculties or connection with the companies stand chance.

Many compnies visit the college at the time of placement and offer very competitive salaries to the right student. IT companies offer 4 Lac starting package nowadays but better salary not an issue for the right person.

Many events happen across the year. None of them is as popular as many of the big colleges in my opinion. Many events celebrated in college.

Fee structure is not too expensive,no to cheap. It is as per the most of the colleges. The fees are in the manageable range. Good for middle class people.

I have no idea about scholarship or loan facility provided by the college. but the interesting student can inquire.

Campus life is good if you have the right friend circle,but limited recreational options on campus even though lot of space is there makes it ideal only for studying.

Mess food is terrible,I have heard they have improved upon but still cleanliness can be improved. Canteen is small and can have multiple branded outlets.

Every year alumni meet happens but the experience has been bad as most of the alumni do not show up this might be my case but overall alumni connection can further be improved upon.

Exams are always at the end of semester and very hectic,however students who can slog particularly during the holidays are better off. However this was the case 10 years back now there is somewhat better exam structure.

Faculty at that time were not as per the university standars but now a days all the faculty members carry minimum masters degree with some being PhD in respective field. So the standard has gone up.
