Course Curriculum Overview

We have midsems and endsems which are 2 main exams. Apart from that there are vivas, projects and presentations which keep happening round th year. There is also 5% marks for attendance of the students.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell in the college which notifies us about various placements and vacancies in various companies. There is no campus placement or internship as such but the teachers help the students in getting placed by recommendations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are cully feasible. It is 30,000/- a year when I was admitted.Now it is around 40,000/-.Totally economic. Best for students to pursue law and favoured towards poor. Scholarships based on merits are provided as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are fine not that luxurious but livable. The washrooms are clean and hygienic. The mess food is nice. There is also a cafeteria available for the students which provides nice fast food and snacks. The mess provides good for only breakfast and dinner.

Admission

The admission is purely done on the basis of the Maharastra common entrance test ie MHCET. The students who have appeared for MHCET are eligible to apply for this college. I appeared for MHCET and got qualified. When the cutoff for this college was declared I applied for the college and got my name in the second merit list and got myself admitted.

Faculty

The college has a dedicated and hardworki faculty . The teachers are very experienced and have great knowledge about the subjects. They never say a "no" to the students be it for the smallest of doubts. The teachers also provide proper notes to the students which help them score good in the exams.

Placement Experience:

There are a lot of in internship opportunities which are being provided by the college placement committee. Also you may get a lot of other opportunities when you try to go for some law Firm. To what I feel if you do a lot of internships and parallel you also perform academically fine then it's a very hefty wholesome package for you to extend in your careers for which this law college is the best platform to take off.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

Pros and Cons

I wrote CLAT but wasn't able to clear it. I also gave MHCET. To get into this college one is required to give this exam and clear the cut off for their respective criteria. DES is 3rd in the list after GLC and ILS. Oms cut offs go way higher than MS. Transfer between colleged available in mhcet list is also possible from 2nd year based on merit....Read More

Why you must opt for DES Navalmal Firodia law college!

To apply to any one of the colleges for an LL.B/BA.LL.B one has to give the MH CET, which is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. It is a four-subject MCQ test. It is one of the best colleges in Pune and does not disappoint. The MH CET cell conducted the admission rounds, and ours had a little management quota. In the first two rounds, you are asked to go to certain colleges and apply for betterment if you are not satisfied with the option allowed. The third round is the risky round where you apply to the maximum number of institutions to maximize your chance of admission. There shall be merit lists of all colleges on a separate basis, you identify your chances and apply as you like. I got some of the last few seats left at the college after finalising admission at another college, which led to the cancellation of admission at the other mentioned college. The admission procedure, teaching and non-teaching staff were helpful and polite and made the entire process smooth....Read More
