Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The B.D.S course consists of the basics of all the medicinal factors and aspects needed to get a hang of the field. The practical sessions and the clinical rotations which happen throughout the duration of this course also help enhance our knowledge about dental sciences along with the teaching part.

College Events

4.5

We have an annual college festival where lots of fun activities, competitions. Many pop-up stalls are put up which exhibit many of the fine works done by the college students. Food stalls are hard to miss. There are many cultural festivals celebrated with unity in our college throughout the year. There are many conferences, awareness camps and seminars held for the enhancement of knowledge and experience of both the students and teachers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure may feel to be a bit on the expensive side, including the fees of hostel and the mess facility. The fee structure on an average feels a bit expensive. To tackle this problem, the college has tie-ups with a lot of banks which can guide parents for the purpose of educational loan.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel management has provided accommodation separately for boys and girls in the campus. The hostel also has facilities like in built vegetarian mess, many board games etc. The hostel is managed and supervised by the chief wardens and the deputy wardens, who are hired by the principal of the college.

Admission

To get admission in this college, it is necessary for the student applying to give the National Eligibility Entrance Test. The admission will be done on the basis of cut off scores released every year for different medical streams. There will also be a procedure for one to one counseling of students if they are selected.

Faculty

3.5

Our faculty has some of the most experienced teachers who are very supportive as well. The teachers are well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the students and teach us everything according to that. They have assignments and practical work as per our capabilities. They are friendly and quite approachable too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this course provide the tag I wanted , that's why I took this course . And bds itself provide specialization in teeth Like if we do MDS we would be a master in this field. For improvement I would suggest that they should use more flowcharts to teach . The frequency of exams is perfect, and I have heard that the difficulty level is increasing now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course over MBBS , I LIKE THIS BETTER , you're a specialised doctor just after graduating, you're ready for the outside world, to earn money , better career options . About exams, nothing is too difficult if you study properly. Its normal difficulty if you study its easy ,if you don't study its gonna be hard. Notes system should be removed . More tests should take place like fortnightly test . Dissection is a must.

Placement Experience:

Dentistry is not a semester based placement programme. After BDS, students can be employed in the private dental clinic of ITS itself, or they can secure jobs from big hospital names like Fortis, Clove Dental Clinics, Max and Apollo. • The average package of students per month has been 3 lakh rupees. My plans after the degree are to get a campus placement, and practise for some time. During this time i would be earning good money and focusing on my NEET MDS preparation at the same time.
