Proud to be a UITIAN

The positive thing about my college is that it only technical institute present in Madhya Pradesh governed by Madhya Pradesh government. In terms of negative things , the college is situated around 20 kilo meters from the main city so students have to travel for two hours daily to attend the college.

UIT RGPV provides a wide range of courses including BE full time in all core engineering branches as well as it provides dual degree program for those students who wants to do their M tech with their engineering degree. It also provides BCA , MCA and Polytechnic courses.

Presently our college does not provide any internship to the students but we get a reference from the teachers to get an internship in the city. As it's and government aided institute it is not expected that it can provide an internship.

Placement opportunities are quite good in our college as compared to other colleges in bhopal as our college is given A grade by NAAC and there are a bunch of companies come here for hiring like TCS , Infosys, Capegemini , zycus , wipro , amazon , flipkart , cognizant etc so students have a good chance of getting placed in these companies

There are a bunch of events organised in our college every year including sports and technical events. Mahasangram is a sports event organised by UITIANS. CONVOLUTION is the technical plus fun event organised by the technical society.

According to me the fee structure is feasible as compared to private colleges and it also provides scholarship to backward class students. For general category students the fee for one year is 31,000 only.

As I have mentioned there is a scholarship for SC ST students as well as for minorities which comprise of a great amount of money and also a room rent scholarship is also present so you can turn off your expenses on room rents. There is a separate scholarship for handicapped students.

Our college provides all the required labs and workshops for students. Extracurricular activities can happen at any time in our college such 98.3 red fm comes in our college as well as motor car making activities. Sports facilities are quite good including the basketball ground plus volleyball plus football ground.

The hostel is located in campus and it provide facility to both boys and girls . For boys this facility is provided to only first year students after first year they have to leave the hostel. There is a great separate girls hostel.

Senior students help junior students in terms of placements with their guidance. The alumni network is quite good in our college which helps students in a far better manner than other colleges present in bhopal.

Exam in our college is conducted semester wise means two exams in one year , where you have to appear compulsorily otherwise you will get backlogs. Based on the marks obtained in exam a SGPA is calculated and the main part is that "You can see your copies and marking

First of all we have to give a exam popularly know as the JEE mains conducted on all india level and which have a cut off marks criteria. A counselling is organised by MP Govt known as the "DTE off campus counselling" based on your marks in jee mains and then you have to fill your college preference and then based on your marks one college is allotted to you after that you have to go to your college for document verification and filling the fee that's it.

UIT RGPV provides a good quality faculty of government teachers with good experience and also it provides private teachers in addition to it. Faculty members are excellent in their subject fields and provides better guidance to the students
