Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is well planned and curriculum is also well maintained such that the students get a good time for extra-curricular activities and also for studies. We have a credit and CGPA system as in US and other top foreign universities. We have each course of a particular credit. Lab courses are usually of 13 credits. The credits are divided as follows-3-1-2, 3 is the number of credit for each class. Each week we have 3 classes so we have 9 credits, 1 credit for tutorial and 1 for self study and 2 for lab. So in this way we have 13 credits of lab courses. We have mid semester and end semester examination. Mid semester examinations carry 30% weightage and end semester examination have 60% weightage. The rest 10% is of Class Assignment/Attendance/Class Tests and Quizzes. Grading system is as follows- A* grade for outstanding performance and A for excellent. Both have 10 pointer. A- has 9, B has 8, B- has 7, C has 6, C- has 5 and after that it is F or Fail grade. So CGPA is calculated as- Sum of grade×credits of each subject divided by total number of credits.
